  1. Fruit Machines are games, I can't see how anyone could think they are not games.. Although Ideally they should have a seperate platform for them such as Pinball has.
  2. Not really, I stalk you wherever you go
  3. No KG, you can't add them as seperate titles and if there are European versions in the database which already exist in their US form then the European version should be deleted. What really needs to be done is have the ability to scrape the appropriate titles when we're scraping for information, we can already add alternate titles for different regions and we can set LaunchBox to scrape the priotised region artwork...but not the title..The only person who can make this change is @Jason Carr but he's got a lot of other things on his todo list at the moment..
  4. Go to config > video mode If it's set to TV then change it to Auto, if that doesn't work then change to VGA (you'll have to close demul and restart if for the changes to take effect) If you've still got problems then without a game loaded, go to config > plugins and paths Then change the video plugin from gpuDX11 to gpuDX11old
  5. For After Burner you need disk 1 in the first floppy drive and disk 2 in the 2nd drive. You'll still get the black screen with music but the game will come on within 30 seconds.
  6. The 1199 is the SPS release number used to create the install http://www.softpres.org/ Fast means the install uses the Amiga's Fastram which is generally better 1MB means it's the 1MB version of the game instead of the 512k version so again it should be better AGA is the later chipset for Amigas so again generally the better version The version numbers refer to the WHDLoad patch, so version 1.4 may have fixed some problems that were present in 1.3 Oh and NTSC means it's the American version.
  7. remove the : after directserial e.g. serial1=directserial realport:COM1
  8. Just to say I'm using Windows 7 and don't have this problem.
  9. It just takes a little while for LaunchBox to sync with changes made with the online database, it only does it once a day (not sure what time) so because it was a recent change you'll just have to wait a little bit longer.

    sega cd 32x

The first disc is the Sega CD disc, the second is the CD 32x Disc. Reason you have to put in the first disc regardless is probably due to some attempt at copy protection.
  11. If you've got a 2nd HD then just copy it on to that, I wouldn't go to the trouble of compressing it as it takes quite a while and updating even one file in an archive that size can take a while. Also you should have secondary backup on a cloud location, like google drive or dropbox.
  12. No it's not different, he's spelt it the same in both, I accidentally compared your screenshot with his. When I realised I deleted the post
  13. It's a good suggestion and one that I think makes sense, but only @Jason Carr can decide. I think it would also be nice if people can at least submit what they think should be the main cover, so that if a game has no real cover we can say show the fanart version, it would also help with games showing budget vresion boxes as the main image even when the original retail cover is there.
  14. The amount of fake images masquerading as real images in appalling. I expect a lot of people don't really care as their main focus is making LaunchBox look pretty, but for a proper gaming database (which is what the LaunchBox one is meant to be) it's not right. Jason added several fanart image types for the database, so if you're going to upload something like that then please mark it properly. Thanks Thantatos for rejecting those.
  15. The earliest date should be used. No disrespect to Neil but he's a forum mod, he doesn't moderate the database as far as I know. It's definitely not seperate entries for seperate regions, unless that the changes are so great it could be treated as a seperate game but even that's subjective.
  16. I've submitted a change to the 1985 one to change the name to Battle Command [1985] as it's the only way to stop same name conflicts. Please note it can take a few days for it to be approved and depending on when it gets approved it could still be 1-2 days afterwards before LaunchBox picks up the updated database info.
  17. Pinball is in the DB, there's just not many entries.
  18. The relevant post and working modules are on http://www.rlauncher.com/forum/showthread.php?5073-Phoenix-Module-for-Jaguar-Emulation/page3
  19. Maybe I'm reading the above wrong, but if you're attempting to import Fallout 2 as a dos game it won't find it because it's a windows game.
  20. The only other one I know is Pong (and its variants).
  21. Just to say it works fine for me and I'm running Windows 7 64 bit.
  22. Beetle is the same as mednafen.
  23. Thank you @faeran just installed it and it's working a treat, very much appreciated!
  24. The only thing I didn't like about the new version is the missing marquee so if you can add it back to v2.0 that would be absolutely wonderful, thank you.
