  1. Every now and again @Vlansix does some kind of database tidy which helps speed up the moderation process, but it generally doesn't take long before it starts becoming horrendously slow again. I've experienced similar times myself and moderating the database is a bad enough job in itself, load times like that just make it unbearable.
  2. He means that if he remembers correctly, when you put in your steamid it must end in / so instead of it being http://steamcommunity.com/id/wz2100modsfan try http://steamcommunity.com/id/wz2100modsfan/
  3. Theme videos go in LaunchBox\Videos\<platform>\Theme Unfortunately there is no option to set this, not sure why @Jason Carr ?
  4. I think you need the -loadbin command, otherwise it seems to be trying to load a Playstation executable rather than the CD image.
  5. Have you got antivirus running? If so try disabling it temporarily, if that fixes the problem then add your launchbox folder to your antivirus exclusion list.
  6. edit your \LaunchBox\Data\BigBoxSettings,xml Look for <KeyboardBack> <ControllerBackButton> Then change the number, for the keyboard, 13 is Escape and my controller back is set to button 2 so mine reads <KeyboardBack>13</KeyboardBack> <ControllerBackButton>2</ControllerBackButton>
  7. You're missing exactly what it says you're missing, in your coleco.zip you need to have a file called 313 10031-4005 73108a.u2 It may be the same file as coleco.rom and just needs renaming (my crc is 3AA93EF3). If it doesn't match then you'll have to find an updated bios that works with the newer versions of MAME (we can't tell you where to look but google is your friend).
  8. Yeh if he's using the ones you uploaded then the filenames in the module need to be changed, match the filenames to the module or the module to the filenames, either should do it.
  9. You need to make sure your filenames match the ones in rocketlauncher (and it doesn't contain all of them by default either), edit the global module settings for parajve, then go to rom settings. Make sure your filenames match the internal id that parajve uses.
  10. I've got zero experience with the Aamber pegasus, but you're emulating a computer which has a keyboard (which is why you needed to press scroll lock to toggle modes) you should probably leave most of it alone as I'm sure the most logical keyboard mapping has already been done. As for controlling the individual games..well if it's anything like most old computer games, each one will be configured differently...some may use C to shoot, some shift, some Q etc... Games quite often show what keyboard controls they use, or if you have any manuals for the games have a look at them. Computer emulation is a lot more complicated than console emulation in more ways than one. Wish I had an easier answer for you, good luck and have fun!
  11. Try pressing scroll lock which hopefully will toggle keyboard modes, then see if tab works.
  12. From what I gather it's still impossible at this time and still might be quite a way off.
  13. Recess in Greece is indeed a Win 3.1 game, came out in 1994, req 486, 4mb ram. should work fine using Zombeavers method.
  14. Looks like there's funky stuff going on with the emulator part (which of course should be blank as a Windows game wouldn't be using an emulator) why that would stop it appearing though I don't know as I dropped the xml into my folder like you did neil and it still showed up. But at this point anything is worth a try.
  15. I'm not sure why it would make a difference but try replacing your PC Games.xml with this modified copy and see if it makes a difference. PC Games.xml
  16. cbr and cbz are just rar and zip files, they will open and extract with winrar without a problem.
  17. I've no idea about most versions of Visual Pinball but Visual Pinball X works fine, you just need to put -play in for the default command line parameters.
  18. Sounds like it's not even finding RocketLauncher, daft question but are you sure LaunchBox is pointing to the right rocketlauncher location? Under tools > manage emulators is the emulator application path for rocketlauncher correct? Also is RocketLauncher set as the emulator for your mame games? Right click on a problem one and go to edit and make sure under the emulation tab that use an emulator is ticked and that rocketlauncher is the chosen emulator.
  19. @Vlansix is there still a problem with deletions? I've deleted the box art for http://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/games/images/71827 twice now and it's been approved each time, but it's still there.
  20. You have to press f1 to get to the Atari800 options (if it brings up the retroarch options just press f1 again) from the atari800 options go to emulator configuration > system rom settings > 5200 bios rom locations and set original to your 5200.rom which you should have in your retroarch\system folder. Then press the tab key a couple of times to get back to the emulator configuration menu and make sure you save the config file. Should work after that. Or possibly even easier, after you have tried and failed to load an atari 5200 game, look in your retroarch folder and you should see a .atari800.cfg file where it says ROM_5200= put the path and filename of your 5200.rom there e.g. ROM_5200= F:\Emus\Multi\RetroArch\system\5200.ROM Oh and it seems its f4 to start a game, doesn't seem remappable at the moment, let alone all the number keys etc.
  21. Actually you can add hacks and homebrews to the database. When you add (or edit an existing title) there's now a "Game Type" field where you can choose from DLC, Homebrew, Released, ROM Hack, Unlicensed and Unreleased. Any hack of an existing game should be marked as such, Homebrew should be left for original but non commercial games.
  22. Sorry I don't, although I believe there's a floppy image of system 6 (perhaps one of the installation disks) that does work as a substitute.
  23. From what I recall, MESS/MAME isn't the best option for VIC-20, you'd be better off using WinVICE http://vice-emu.sourceforge.net/
  24. An Apple IIGS game being non-bootable doesn't mean the game doesn't work, it just needs to be loaded from the operating system instead, you'll need to load a Hard Drive image of System 6.0.x first.
  25. Like I said, the cd image is the main application in the launchbox game entry, so by starting the game entry it automatically mounts the cd, you add the game executable itself under additional apps
