  1. I would think if it was premium only you wouldn't be able to switch to it period. So i think something else is going on. Very strange that it would be isolated to that one setting though.
  2. Close Launchbox, go to your Launchbox/Data folder and move the settings.xml out to the desktop for a minute. Start Launchbox it will recreate that file with default settings and see if it sticks, you can just copy it back in after.
  3. What version of Launchbox are you on? what theme are you using, default? do you have premium or the free version?
  4. I just tested here by using the "View" dropdown to switch to list view then quit and re-started Launchbox and that view stuck.

    PC Games

Yep, i personally have a Steam platform, (for Steam games obviously) and a Windows Platform where i keep all my games from other services. Steam. Windows.
  6. @Jason Carr There may be a translation error in the Brazillian Portuguese translation. I'm not sure who does that translation to tag them personally. See details in this thread. EDIT: @Cauptain i think.
  7. Sounds like a oversight to me, i dont use sort names or list view though so have never noticed. @Jason Carr maybe you want to take a look before you put out the official build?
  8. Make sure that you have the "Game Details" screen enabled, as that is where it is shown just before you launch a game.
  9. Time to update your main Launchbox rig to 2019 and test i guess.
  10. Just to add, my system is a Ryzen 7 1700x and a GTX 1060, and i have never experienced this issue.
  11. I would also recommend depending on you PC specs to try one of the beetle cores for PS1, the standard core uses software rendering, but the HW core will allow upscaling the graphics if you have a dedicated GPU in your system. PCSX REARMED is actually the worst of the three cores available for emulating PS1.
  12. I assume you mean specifying the core? If so there are some defaults that are pre-populated in Launchbox when you add Retroarch as a emulator that can be changed to what you actually want to use. As all systems will vary in performance and users will also have preferences on which cores they want to use. There are a few there that i personally change, as i have a fairly decent PC so can use some of the more demanding cores that are not selected by default.
  13. Hi and welcome to the forums. Have you specified the PS1 platform to use PCSX ReARMed? I assume you have Retroarch setup in Launchbox correctly and other systems are working? If so have you told Launchbox which core to use for your PS1 system, i believe it is using beetle by default, so you need to change that. Go to Tools/Manage Emulators, double click Retroarch and go to the "Associated Platform" tab and find PS1, and double click in the core box to open the dropdown and choose the core. Also you will need to make sure that the platform name in the associated platform tab matches EXACTLY what you called the platform in Launchbox, case also matters.
  14. Also that is not the case. It is unfortunate that you seem to be having some issues with it, but 99% of users are using VLC as the player just fine with zero issues, myself included.
  15. Sounds like your videos are in a format that Windows Media Player does not support, which is why VLC is the recommended player as it supports all formats. Try downloading the K-Lite codec pack for more codec support in Windows Media Player.
  16. Do you have "Windowed Fullscreen mode" enabled in Retroarch?
  17. Are you talking about only having one platform but that image infinitely repeats? If so there is nothing that can be done about that i'm afraid, at least in the current version of Bigbox. If you however mean that you have a bunch of playlists as well as the actual MAME platform , then you can just delete those playlists and just leave MAME. Also one last thing, if you do only have the one platform, in your case MAME you can set in the Bigbox options for Bigbox to open to "All Games" so it will load straight into your list of MAME games.
  18. Actually its 9.10 beta 1 and up. @Bellingham you can update to the beta by turning them on in Tools/Options/Updates, or you will need to wait for the 9.10 official release in order to use the default images.
  19. Yeah that sounds likely also, you use no-intro naming right? so if a system romset is from another set the names may not match.
  20. Ha ha, yep that would do it. @dragon57 probably be best to add to the description that the beta i think 9.10 beta 2?? is needed for these to work.
  21. Can you grab a image as im not sure from the description what that is.
  22. Sounds like you may have save on exit on in Retroarch, so when you exit its saving the active bezel at that time.
  23. Well that sucks, but at least you worked out what the issue was.
  24. What i said above should work fine, i originally said the wrong thing, but the DPI scaling option on a right click/compatibility should fix it.
