  1. Just create it.
  2. Hi and welcome to the community. They go in a folder called startup in the video folder, they can be named anything you like and you can have more than one, Launchbox will play a random one.
  3. Launchbox doesn't use the emumovies ftp, it uses the emumovies sync api. So them changing the ftp wont make any difference to Launchbox.
  4. Oh right yeah, i never used it from there I always used the button.
  5. You mean this button in the bottom right? It works just fine.
  6. Yeah I assume in the file name like it currently does in the standard Launchbox.
  7. Its under the View dropdown.
  8. Just click the platform on the left, then on a game in the platform. Then press CTRL A to highlight all the games in that platform, then just go to tools/update metadata and media.
  9. Its still to be implemented but it will be, as others have stated several times everything that is in the standard will be implemented into next, but not everything came be magically done at the same time, so things have to be prioritized. If you click the option to show versions it does pop a coming soon box, so yeah coming soon.
  10. Yeah that was completely removed a ways back, so highly doubtful that it will be added to next.
  11. Because they are different services and will have different media and images, music is only available from emumovies if you have premium for example, as are manuals. They are different, a lot of images will be the same on both but it depends really, also emumovies is the only place to get movies, manuals and music as the Launchbox database doesn't support that media.
  12. I have seen this also on my setup, I quit a game back to Bigbox and the game wheel is spinning away.
  13. Or in your 1st image just check the box that says "File Name Extensions at the top right.
  14. Yup, both are good reasons why we advise against running as administrator.
  15. Whats the file extension? it should just be .sfc. Its probable that you just had those file types associated with snes9x before, so they still are. As long as they are gamename.sfc they should work.
  16. Or just go to your account settings and change it there.
  17. Look in your Theme folder, there is a pdf.
  18. I would recommend the second option, running Launchbox as admin can cause issues running emulators due to requiring elevation.
  19. Yep.
  20. Yeah its totally doable, I used to have mine like that, I had Launchbox with all the images on my SSD, but then had all the games and videos on a HDD, works just fine.
  21. Yes, but you will have to tell Launchbox where your games have moved to on a per platform basis. Just highlight all the games in a platform with CTRL A and go to tools/change rom path and browse to the new location.
  22. Reicast is the Dreamcast core in Retroarch but its not very good, so you are best sticking with Demul. Same with Dolphin there is a core but it's fairly new and not as good as the standalone. I use Retroarch for as many systems as I can, but there are some systems where to get the best experience you will still have to use standalone emulators.
  23. You can have different views per platform, so im guessing you have that option on. Either turn it off in options/views or assign a switch view button to your controller/keyboard go to the platform you want to change view on and press the button you setup.
  24. I personally have had no issues with 8.3, i would lean towards something on your system interfering as you say emulators are crashing but Launchbox has nothing to do with emulators it just launches them. So if they are having issues as well I would say it is something outside of Launchbox, possibly a bad Windows update, Graphics driver or worse case a HDD going bad.
