  1. You are talking about this right? During rom import process it shows up after the screens to choose the metadata types you want to download.
  2. What style is it specifically in the video are you trying to mirror? In watching the video it demoes different view styles of the theme as well as different background videos. You can see he changes the theme to each of the different background videos. Is there a specific background video and view you are looking at in the video. Perhaps mention the time stamp it shows up at.
  3. I just tested a custom config and it worked fine. As @lordmonkus mentioned something may be wrong with your command line or a corrupt .cfg Here is what I tested and it loaded the custom .cfg fine. First image is of the manage emulator screen showing the LB command line. Second is RA after loading a TG16 with the custom .cfg. Maybe share an image of your edit emulators and associated platforms tabs.
  4. The option to bind hot keys is in the RA menu under the gear icon, then input, then input hot key binds. I think if you want to set hot keys to "nul" you may have to open the retroarch.cfg an edit the lines for the specific hot keys to read "nul". For example change the line for input_enable_hotkey = "11" to read input_enable_hotkey = "nul" then save the .cfg. Make a copy of the original one first just in case things get mucked up. This is how I had to do it late last year so if they have changed and you can now set to nul in the GUI I could not say since I have not done it since.
  5. @angelobodetti Thanks. Yeah that's the one I found after you mentioned one existed. I downloaded it and changed the music. So thanks for the tip. I was only looking in the Playlist download area. Completely forgot to check the Games Theme Videos.
  6. I saw @CTRL-ALT-DEFEAT did a fighter theme in the playlists download area but I do not see one for specifically Street Fighter. I did find one from another member in the games theme downloads.
  7. Hopping on this thread with a couple of requests. Did not want to open a new thread for requests. Hoping someone has in the works or would not mind creating a video for: -An actual theme video for "Playlists" -Street Fighter -Resident Evil Thanks!
  8. Try deleting the ID if there is one and then reducing the game name to just a couple words of the name. That worked for me in the past as it will usually bring up a list of games with the partial name match. Just for kicks I tested with Watch Dogs 2 by searching only "Watch" and the full list showed Watch Dogs 2 from the Launchbox Database. Issue is the game is listed as "Watch_Dogs 2". Searching for "Secret World" I was able to find the full game name from the DB as well. Rime no luck finding no matter what I did.
  9. Right click on a game and choose "edit". In the upper right hand of that edit window it will show the ID if it pulled one. Just delete it and then click search for metadata.
  10. @Peej I do not think I have ever seen any options for a feature like that. Too be honest I am not even sure if an emulator would do such a thing as well.
  11. Right click on a rom that is not working and click edit. Check the emulator tab to confirm that an emulator is checked and the emulator listed is Rocketlauncher. There was an earlier post with an RL issue and some roms not working. Turned out in that member's set up the roms that were not working the emulator for some reason did not get configured. I do not use RL so I cannot help to much, but I do remember reading the above in a prior post. Worth a check.
  12. That's the default folder. Just click browse and search for where you have Dolphin.exe. As Dos76 mentioned when you go to the folder where you have Dolphin.exe if it is not showing up in the screen then at the bottom next to the open and cancel button hit the drop box and choose "All Files (*.*)" and it should then show.
  13. In RA you can bind two entries for each input of your controls. For example in mine up in a game is both "Hat #0 up" on controller and "Num 8" of my keyboard/Tankstick.
  14. Keep in mind if you pay the $20 and decide not to go lifetime you still can use your set-up, you only lose out on any future updates. Like you I tried Hyperspin/RL and even though what it can do once set up right is great, for me it was way to many layers and steps. Right now with what Launchbox/BigBox can do my system if far more than I originally wanted it to be.
  15. Nice. Glad you got it fixed. Just realized since you cannot go back you cannot check your options. Doh!
  16. That is probably the default. I just cannot remember. I have mine mapped to a different key due to my Tankstick controller. I have a K400 and just tested it changing the back command to the escape key in BigBox and it works. Double check your keyboard mappings in BigBox options.
  17. In BigBox menu options do you have "escape" mapped to anything in your keyboard mappings? I do not believe in the BigBox frontend "escape" has a default map function so it would not do anything.
  18. I had a similar issue with a nightly build earlier this year. Turned out as @lordmonkus mentioned in his post it was a bad build. I had to go back to the earlier version.
  19. @igotdvds Thanks for sharing those by the way. I have them all on my system. Love the Playstation ones.
  20. I see now what you mean. The attract mode in BigBox does not demo games it just randomizes your game media set to the intervals you input. Moving the controller or hitting any button just makes the system fall out of the attract mode pattern. So I do not know how you could accomplish the look from the video.
  21. Depending on how your system is set up for controls and the coin mechanism it can be pretty simple. I use an Xarcade Tankstick one of my machine so it was simply a matter of running two wires from the coin selector switch to the left pinball bumper button on the Tankstick (default add coin button). Now anytime a coin drops the emulator thinks it is the left bumper button (or the #3 key from a keyboard). Basically that simple on other encoders too like an iPac.
  22. Yes. I did it for my set up with Sega Master system.
  23. Yeah I saw the size of your marquee but you mentioned the marquee stays blank which is why I mentioned the box art. I know the box art image in your shape LCD would not look good, but it might be better than a blank screen. Heck until I get my lcd like you are using I am using a 22" widescreen and my marquee images look horrible all letter box looking on it. As far as I know there is no controls to set a generic marquee image. . I know default images have been mentioned (especially for things like missing box art) a lot so I am confident it will be coming . For now we are kind of stuck. I love the build you have so far. Please share when it is complete. It is looking amazing!
  24. If you create custom marquees they simply go in the \Launchbox\Images\[System Name Folder\Arcade-Maquee I think though for now Launchbox/BigBox looks for images based on the rom name. So you would have to have the default image named after each rom. I am not sure if there is functionality to have just one default image and if a game is missing the marquee LaunchBox inserts that image. What theme/themes are you using? All the themes I use will show box art on my marquee whenever I do not have an actual marquee image for the rom in the Arcade-Marquee folder. For example I use Critical Zone theme and If I do not have an image in the arcade-marquee folder my marquee will simply show box art on my marquee screen.
