"Broken" has been added to the audit screen for quite some time now. Just Audit all games or per platform and sort.
-
Doubtful it is a setting. We have seen a few random users experience similar things, though many times it ends up being an addition software running or a driver issue. Everything this up to date driver and Windows wise on your set-up? Do you have lot of Auto-Populating playlists?
-
Yeah. As @neil9000 stayed you are pointing to the zipped file. You need to point LB to the exe.
-
@JackDaniels That’s the first and most important piece is making sure the games work directly in the emulator. Now when you import make sure that in the Associated Platforms tab in your Mame settings in LB the name of your arcade platform is listed and it marches exactly the name that you gave the platform.
-
@Koroth Has been helping you. Have you done/checked any of the things he mentioned? Personally I would not use such an outdated set. Per his posts: Did you select all games in LB, right click and edit, then set the emulator to Retroarch? In LB manage emulators edit Retroarch and make sure the button for “Extract Rom” is not checked.
-
First thing to do is confirm your roms work directly in the emulator. Are you using Mame or Retorarch and do the games work directly there without using LaunchBox? Also do you know what version the ron set is (its usually a number like .202, .229, .230 and so on)? This will help determine if it is a LB issue or a Mame/Rom issue.

@SLUGIE79 I edited your post. Please refrain from posting links to roms or rom sellers. Also this forum does not condone buying roms so please do not do so in your posts.
-
That option should not need to be checked. I do not import the full mame rom set and that option is not ticked when I drag and drop random Mame roms from my set to add to my set-up. Can you right click your Mame.Arcade platform in LB (right click the name in the left hand pane) and edit. Then post a pic of the details tab. Below is an import of a random Mame rom using drag&drop to import. LB found the games metadata and in the last screen you can see it is renaming the game correctly. Nothing special done on import and that option is not checked. (disregard that "skip unplayable in Mame" is unchecked).
-
You can import many ways such as drag & drop, folder scan, or if importing a full Mame rom set use the "Full Mame Rom Set Importer". Just need to make sure your arcade platform has the scrape to set as "Arcade".

You have to use the correct name as @neil9000 has already mentioned. LB uses platform and game title name not checksum. You can read Jason’s information on that here.

Did you right click+edit a game and double check the path it is pointing to is in fact correct? Even if you did need import all the roms again all you need to do is import them and deselect the option to download media. LB will simply attach the reimport to the existing media. -
You would have to download a different aspect ratio image. You can edit the xaml to fit images in the available space. Issue is, if you use squared shaped images it will squish and stretch the image. To do this you would need to edit the marquee view xaml and change the stretch. It is possibly set to Stretch="Uniform". You can change to Stretch="UniformtoFill" and that will crop some of the image to try an keep aspect ratio, but will fill the space. Or Stretch="Fill" and it will simply squish and stretch the image to fill the space. If the theme you are using does not have a PlatformMarqueeView.xaml and a GameMarqueeView.xaml then a custom one would need to be created to fix for a better image fit.

Doubtful anything will be looked at with regards to this. Well, at least not anytime soon. It has been recommended from the implementation of both LB Startups and Pause features to not use RL Fades or Pause if you are using the LB options..

@Kaio0411 My bad I did not even notice this was Android. The pic options I mentioned are windows. So I apologize. I have not messed with the Android version much. I will see if one of the other mods can jump in.

Can you right click a game and edit then post a couple pics. The error you see means LB is looking where the rom is not located. >Pic of the Launching page and a Pic of the Emulation page. Also just to cover bases in Manage Emulators in LB. Edit PPSSPP and post a couple pics from there. >Pic of the Details Page and Pic of the Associated Platforms page.

Do your games work if you run them directly in the emulator without using LB? Anytime you have issues with games the best thing to do first is confirm they are working in the emulator. If they are then we know it typically is a LB setting.
-
A pic of what you see would help better confirm what you need to do. A couple things to note: 1. Themes do not come with game play videos so if no videos are showing you need to make sure you downloaded them. 2. Themes typically have different views so you would also need to make sure you are on a view that supports game play videos. You can hot swap views by binding a key/button in the mapping section for "Change View".

Running scripts not working on launchbox 12.6.
Retro808 replied to Soomin papa's topic in Troubleshooting
Have you reverted to the prior version to confirm it still works in 12.5? Not seeing any issues with any Running AHK on either the latest stable build or the current betas. I would recommend going into your \Updates folder and running the installer for 12.5. Install over the existing build and test. Make sure when you reinstall to confirm the folder it is installing to. Many users do not pay attention to that and it ends up installing into a subfolder \LaunchBox\LaunchBox. -
Working fine here. Both on latest stable and latest beta. You saying you cannot click in the empty space under Emulator Name and just type?
-
The drop down list options is not a complete end-all. It is just to get users started with some of the more common options. To add any emulator not listed just type in any name you want to give the emulator and in the application path field browse to the exe location and select it. Make sure in the Associated Platforms tab you have the exact name of the platform listed there. It has to match how the name appears in your LB. Also make sure the correct core is selected. Do the roms actually work if you run them directly in Retroarch without using LB?
-
Not that I have seen on the forum.

If you remove the video from one of the platforms then that platform will not show the video for the game. LB’s code will not share a single video for the same game in multiple platforms.
