This is a collection of 35 3D game box fronts for AnF (11) and Alligata (24) software houses which I've made. The 2D box fronts (in jpg format) are included.

  3. You may also come across games where the parent is unplayable but a clone is. For example, as you're on MAME 179, the parent of the game Alligator Hunt is protected and becomes unplayable shortly after starting, whereas it's clone is unprotected and fully playable. The parent didn't become working until MAME 190 or thereabouts. Also, since you've tried every game in your romset at least once, if you are going to delete quite a few chd based games you should also tidy up MAME's diff folder. These chd related data files can be big and add up to a nice amount of space on your hd.
  4. Some chds have the same name as the game's rom while others don't, but all chds will be in unzipped folders named exactly like the game roms, making these folders easy to spot and remove. For example the game Killer Instinct, kinst.zip uses a chd called kinst.chd which is in a folder called kinst, whereas the game Crypt Killer, cryptklr.zip uses a chd called 420uaa04.chd which is in a folder called cryptklr
  5. Have you tried using the LaunchBox variable %romfile% and placing the emulator's own parameters after it?
  6. Good to hear.
  7. I recently had updates and RA still plays games with sound. I don't know why one of your Defender updates is greyed out, I didn't receive that one myself.
  8. When BigBox opens, go to Options, Views and set Default Startup View to Platforms.

  11. You could try Fn+S. This works for Dell machines with no ScrollLock button. Failing that you need to check your machine's documentation.
  12. With a very small LBox games collection I prefer to do everything manually and haven't used the import features in ages, so I can't help with that. As regards the two games you mentioned. Pac-Man (pacman.zip) is a clone of the parent Japanese game Puck Man Japan Set 1 (puckman.zip). Double Dragon US sets 1, 2 and 3 (ddragonu.zip ddragonua.zip ddragonub.zip) are clones of the parent Japanese game Double Dragon (ddragon, zip).
  13. MAME can emulate the Apple IIgs. The file format support list is flop1 and flop2 and flop3 and flop4 dsk, po, fdi, td0, imd, cqm, d77, d88, 1dd flop1 and flop2 only do, bin, nib flop3 and flop4 only img, image, dc, 2img, 2mg If all or most of your games are in the dsk (or another flop1 supported) format, then for your Associated Platform Default Command-Line Parameters you can use apple2gs -flop1 This will handle your single disk games. For multiple disk games you can set a Custom Command-Line Parameter for each game. apple2gs -flop1 %romfile% -flop2 "full path to disk 2 goes here" and so on if needed. If you have a few games which use a format that only supports flop3 and flop4, you can apply Custom Parameters to those games as well. apple2gs -flop3 or apple2gs -flop3 %romfile% -flop4 "full path to disk 2 goes here"

This is a collection of 45 Acornsoft 3D game boxes I made. Where games were released in both disc and cassette versions I've made the disc one, otherwise the cassette version is used. The font size of the game titles and publisher are not fixed but vary to match those of the original game boxes. The 2D box fronts (in jpg format) are included.

  16. I believe that you need 25 accepted submissions in order to be granted moderation status. The database screen at login should let you know your status. On the subject of region field requirements, the database will not allow you to add a Box Front or Box Back without you specifying a region, but most other stuff like screen shots, logos etc will not prompt you for a region. Unfortunately, the member who maintained the guidelines is no longer active to clear all this up. This is a bit like the emulator settings for all platforms which is woefully outdated and here again the maintainer is no longer active.
  17. On your LaunchBox screen just below the Arabic text which ends with David there are six options. Select the fifth from the left one. Now select the bottom option in the new box. Now open the dropdown language box that is set for Arabic and select English. Finally click the box at bottom left with the green tick in it. Restart LaunchBox and you should be back on English.
  18. It may most likely be a naming issue. If only a handful of videos are affected, you could open the Edit Game box in LaunchBox and set the Video Game Path manually in the Other tab for each game.

A collection of Superior Software 3d game boxes I made. Some are cassette based and others are disc based. The cassette images are a mix of the standard and wider boxes used by Superior at the time, as also are the disk images.

  21. Hi @breite07 Launch any one of your Coleco games in LaunchBox. When it opens, use TAB to bring up the menu and select Bios Selection. Change the driver from Original to Thick and press Reset.
  22. The bios coleco.rom is the one used by emulators such as ColEm and blueMSX. Once zipped it works with MAME as well but only allows the original character set to be used. Games will play, but MAME will audit it as missing the thick bios - colecoa.rom. The bios coleco.zip that comes with a full romset is a dual bios that allows the character set to be switched between the original (default) and thick.

Hi folks. Can anybody identify these two fonts?
  25. Looks like neoncluster.com is gone. It was working fine when I last used it. You could retry in the future to see if it's returns.
