It may be in your email with the license if not I'm sure that @Jason Carror @Kirsten Mariecan help you get that all sorted out.

Glad you got it working now

I just tried the startup video for the 1st time and got two error messages once closed BigBox is still open but they are a problem Cannot perform this operation while dispatcher processing is suspended. So you did try the add button? I was unsure by your response I know yesterday you said that you did but after our earlier interaction I had doubts because you were saying it was displaying the 0 games found dialog which shouldn't ever come up during an add because LB doesn't scan for the ROM in that case you point it directly to one specific file.
-
Yeah that is how you bulk import the method I'm showing you is how to add an individual game that is being stubborn you can literally add anything to LB that way I could click the add button and add a DLL as a ROM if I wanted to since LB will follow the path the title and the platform I give the file regardless of anything this is the sure fire way to add any game. Its more work but if I recall correctly you are talking under 20 games here and you are going to hose you whole install also have you tried using the checkbox to force add duplicates while importing and see if that had any effect on your issue.
-
usually it doesn't say you added a game using this method in my experience so the zero games added thing is weird
-
I didn't when you try to add a game manually what happens it gets an error or doesn't let you complete the process?
-
I don't know about that theory I have CPS 1 2 and 3 and Neo Geo separated out as their own platform but all of the games are also in my MAME platform. And in my Mark III platform I have games that I have in my SMS section like Fantasy Zone is in both sections.
-
Okay the bios pack should just be part of the ROM set now I don't know about as far back as 0.133 but if you have a set up to 171 it should be good to go with all the bios files included.

This is actually the 1st video that is long enough for my startup time.

I think we need a way to randomize startup videos
DOS76 replied to andy_d's topic in Big Box Startup Videos
Plus on top of that not only are the videos different length but BigBox startup time varies from machine to machine -
issues getting certain roms and emus to run
DOS76 replied to ResidentEvul13's topic in Troubleshooting
You have to switch through the views to find the specific one you are looking for to match the video you can map a button to switch views in the controller keyboard options and then cycle through them until you find what you are looking for. -

Yeah getting it to work would probably be that easy but how to deal with different length videos and how to logically control that aspect wouldn't be as easy. -

DOS76 replied to andy_d's topic in Big Box Startup Videos
I personally only want to use videos of a certain length due to knowing my startup time but it would be a problem I'm sure. -
by manually adding them you mean hitting the add button in the bottom right corner? I've never seen this method fail to add anything before this would be a 1st.
-
Okay then you covered it on your end
-
Controllers don't work in BigBox until you go into the settings and turn them on. If you are having issues with it in LB you will most likely have issues in BB also luckily we have some users that may be able to help you out @cammelspithas a weird love affair with his Steam controller he maybe able to help you out getting it to work correctly
-
Grilla you should add that info about the font to the description if it isn't already there to cut down on confusion.

Agreed -
Have you tried going into tools>options and turning up your RAM cache you shouldn't need to go to high try changing to 1GB and see how that is
-
LB offers you the option to update if you except it the program takes care of the rest you don't do anything

Its because the encoder doesn't have a led controller it is either on with the button press of you can wire it specially to be on all the time but there is nothing on the encoder that will control the lights so. I'm not an expert on it and could be entirely wrong but I think some of those controllers that work for it have more to them then this encoder.

Updated when passing audit means correct. How many actual games did you find issues with?
