  1. Did you set up each platform to load the appropriate core in the edit emulator window for Retroarch ? I know in your first post you mention Dropbox and unfortunately I can't help you with that since I don't use it or know how it affects how Launchbox interacts with RA.
  2. Select the platform you want to change emulator for, select all the games using Control + A on the keyboard, right click and edit to bring up the bulk edit tool, in the field dropdown menu pick Emulator and in the Value dropdown menu pick the emulator you want them to use.
  3. Try reinstalling from the latest official installer and if that doesn't work try replacing your settings.xml and bigboxsettings.xml file with the most recent backup from the \backups folder.
  4. Yeah, you would want to setup BigBox as your shell in Windows, there are tutorials on the net on how to do this but one way is to use the program bbsetshell from this site here http://bb4win.sourceforge.net/bblean/, that would be the cleanest way but if you don't want to change the shell just put a shortcut file for your BigBox in the Startup folder of your start menu.
  5. Just tested this on my "tester install" of Launchbox and it does work if you only have a single platform and you set BigBox to startup to All Games.
  6. If you only have a single platform and that being the Playstation it might be doable by having the default startup view being set to all games. But if you have more than 1 category you cannot at this current point in time, I have mentioned to @Jason Carr about booting straight to a specific platform or playlist.
  7. That is a long term goal yes but it's gonna take time since there are only 2 devs, 1 full time and 1 part time working on it. Not sure what this is though.
  8. If they worked yesterday through Launchbox and not today then something must have changed. Did you do anything to make changes ?
  9. Super Metroid Project Base http://begrimed.com/pb.php has been MSU'd now and would be nice to have a box art for it.

  11. I don't even know what that is. Edit: Ok I guess it's an overlay but as for why it wouldn't work I don't know. I don't use the UI version of Mame, I use the command line version with my mame.ini file in the main Mame folder and everything works perfectly fine.
  12. Yeah copying the .cfg file out to the main MameUI folder should do the trick.
  13. Simply delete the files it added to your Mednafen folder. The files that will be copied are: Sweet.fx ReShade.fx either an opengl or dx .dll file (this will depend on the api the program is using) and a SweetFX folder I actually recently updated my Mednafen and tried out the "goat" shader it has built in and is quite nice. To enable it look in the mednafen config file for the following: ;Enable specified OpenGL shader. ss.shader and change it to: ;Enable specified OpenGL shader. ss.shader goat Make sure you aren't using any scaling at all or it will bugger it all up and look silly.
  14. Works for me using drag & drop.
  15. Improvements to the list view like the ones requested in this thread are on the "Small Things" list but only 2 people asked for them so it's not one of the higher priorities.
  16. Netplay with Retroarch is something I believe @Jason Carr has planned for this next round of updates for the next official build. Of course I could be wrong and Jason could change is mind but I believe he mentioned that being next because it was the next most voted thing on the last poll.
  17. Updated to version 1.0.1 with minor bug fixes from Typhon.
  18. Retroarch GenesisGX Split Cores View File This is for those of you that want to have separate configs and shaders for each of the different consoles the GenesisGX core in Retroarch supports. As some of you who have tried to just make copies of the GenesisGX core and renamed them know this doesn't work because Retroarch uses the internal name of the core .dll file to generate configs. These are 64 bit only so if you are using the 32 bit version of Retroarch they won't work. You will use the main GenesisGX core for your Genesis / Megadrive emulation and included in the download file is separate cores for the SG-1000, Game Gear, Master System and Sega CD. Simply extract them to your Retroarch\cores folder and change your command lines in Launchbox for the platforms to point to these cores that you choose to use. I did not create these at all, the user by the name of Typhon over on the Retroarch forums took the time to compile these separated cores. Anyone can do this if you have the know how to compile the code into a working .dll file but Typhon did the work and uploaded it over there. For anyone downloading these just be reminded that these will not be updated by the Retroarch dev team so if you want up to date ones in the future you will either have to compile your own or hope that someone has done it and uploaded it. These are up to date as of October 31, 2017. https://forums.libretro.com/t/i-compiled-some-split-cores/4370 Submitter Lordmonkus Submitted 10/31/2017 Category Third-party Apps and Plugins

  20. Save files should work easy enough then, you should check their forums for save issues though.
  21. That depends on the emulator you are using.
