  1. That’s odd. I have used both VLC and WMP on most themes we have available without that issue. I would probably post a question on the thread for the themes this issue occurs for you and see if the theme creator can give some advice.
  2. I would try switching to WMP for videos. Memory leak has been reported before and in the beta thread here it was talked about. One of our members CKP was having issues and on recommendation switched to WMP since Jason mentioned VLC uses alot of RAM. It seemed to work for CKP so give it a try. I remember Jason mentioning BigBox out of the box can use 1GB of RAM and it is not uncommon to use more depending on what bells and whistles of BigBox you use. I linked to that beta thread twice. Probably worth a read for you. So on 4GB of RAM you may want to keep the theme bare bones of the WMP switch does not help.
  3. @Riffman81 What do you think on these? I added the stripe element on the bottom as the cover graphics on these game covers it did not look right stretched to fit in the space allowed. On Conkers you can see the difference. If you want to keep them more unified with what you have created let me know and I can drop the stripe and refit the image more full screen.
  4. @Riffman81 Much appreciated for the templates. I have mild photoshop skills so the CD cover overlay will go a long way on making it easier on me. I cannot thank you enough for these and the video snaps as well!
  5. Are you pointing Launchbox to the correct Retroarch.exe? Only asking as I remember a previous thread someone had the same issue and when that person imported Retroarch they had chosen Retroarch_debug.exe by accident. Double check that just in case. Outside of that I am not sure. Hopefully one of our more expert members or mods will chime in.
  6. @Riffman81 Thanks to you and @Lordmonkus I have about 20 MSU1 games in my new platform. Definitley looking forward to the video snaps. I had not really dug into this stuff before this thread. If you do not mind sharing the templates I would love them. I had to mock up a couple for a few games I added outside of what you had in your original file set. I only made the standard box art since it was simplest to modify.
  7. If Lordmonkus steps do not work it might be helpful to share some screen caps of your edit screens. Edit a game and show pic of the rom path and the emulator tab. Also go to manage emulators, choose the emulator you are using and edit, then share a pic of emulator details tab and the associated platforms tab. Sometimes that will help show if there is a disconnect that can be corrected.
  8. Xbox One and the Hori controller on my machines and I agree they both work well. My Xbox One was pretty easy to set up no real fuss.
  9. @Lahma Thanks. I have done editing before so I have a few youtube downloaders in my software suite already, but it is good tips to share with the community so thanks for posting. I actually do not mind the song as is.
  10. @neil9000 Yeah, I tried to see if I could find it or a similar version on Soundcloud or even Youtube. Nothing I found was similar. Maybe a remix from an Emumovies forum member.
  11. I deleted the mp3 and downloaded it again. It does play a Super Mario World song it just starts weird with an almost Metroid like sound at 24-25 seconds you hear the transition into the SMW theme. So not completely a wrong song it just start off different.
  12. @eatkinola Pleased to say the new update fixed the exhausted media player issues. A quick test netted no error. Switching views multiple time in all levels and even using VLC. One initial glitch was when first booted into BigBox the first video does not play. I have to select a different platfrom category.
  13. Yes. There are a few threads on the forum with similar issues. I had it as well. What worked for me is changing video setting from VLC to WMP. If you are using VLC in BigBox try changing the setting to WMP and see if that helps. It worked form me, but for others it did not. I think someone even mentioned completely removingVLC from their pc and that helped.
  14. Thanks. I was wondering if it was just my pc as @neil9000 can replicated the exhausted error but his issue is slightly different than what you and I are getting.
  15. Nice definitely adding this one to the rotation.
  16. Looks like Omen is having the same issue as I am. @Omen Does it have the same error using VLC and WMP?
  17. I did not even think about that. I know they work on my Switch
  18. @daddu3 Cool glad it was just a simple firmware. As far as Wii and WiiU I have had no issues with them. For WiiU I am on Cemu 1.10.f and it was a bit a task to get it working because they changed how Cemu inputs controls now. You have to select Xinput, Dinput, etc. I cannot remember which one I got it working under, but it does still work. I have not update to 1.11.0c yet.
  19. @neil9000 Honestly I do not know. I never bothered to look since I needed no workaround to get them connected. Just updated the firmware, paired to my pc, set the mappings in BB and all the needed emulators. No fuss no muss.
  20. @neil9000 Thanks for posting the clip. My issue is weird as with either VLC of WMP I get the exhaust. However, for me what happens is I can have either the platform category/platform level or the games level playing the video. Not both. If the games level is not working and I switch views they work. However, back out to platform level and now the videos do not work there. Change the platform level view and they work again......BUT go into game level and they stop working. Video Here. In the video I switch from WMP to VLC and you see the error still. Even if I reboot after the switch VLC gives the same error.
  21. I am on Windows 10 and BB detects all my 8Bitdo (NES30Pro, SFC30Pro, NES30, and FC30) controllers with no issues. Are your controllers on the most current firmware? I did not need to do anything special to get them to work. Just paired them with my pc and set the controller mappings in BB.
  22. It is still plaguing me. I am on LB 7.13 as of today and I still get the exhausted media player. It only occurs with the newest version of Nostalgia (using VLC or WMP). If I remove it and put an older version of the theme in the videos work fine.
  23. @LordDangerMouse No worries. Glad your working again. Keep in mind with MameUI it has been pretty finicky lately and if you update make sure you remember to do these steps again. If you use the command line version of Mame and not MameUI it does not have these issues.
  24. Try the following: But first backup your Mame folder in case it does not work than you can delete it an recover your original settings from the back up. MameUI has had issues loading the configs stored in the ini folder. It will try to load from the main folder. So make a back up first of your files. Then once you did that in the original MameUI folder copy the contents of your ini folder and paste it into the main folder (the root folder that MameUI.exe is in). Then try to load a game through LB box.
  25. Yeah I recommend using command line and ditching UI. I used to use MameUI slowly with each new version it started not playing nicely wth other software. With command line version it has been pretty smooth since I switched to it. It was actually the mods here that got me switched over.
