Could you try again now that they seem to have their services back up and running properly and let me know if you still have that issue? I just checked here and i dont have World War Z in my Launchbox either, i do however have Thimbleweed Park. I just ran the importer again and it found GTAV and added that, but i still dont have World War Z. I have 113 games on epic, but only 108 in Launchbox, so i have a handful missing. You can grab Unreal Tournament for free in the Epic Store in case you'll want to get it for testing,

Untitled.mp4 That finishing up process is normal. It just takes a while. It's not frozen there. I don't know what's going on with the startup though. But the log files show errors of "The given path's format is not supported." which means that somehow it's finding invalid file paths. I suppose it's possible that one of your drives isn't showing up until after the boot process, but that would be weird.

Right ok, i'll try removing those ps2 games see if it makes any difference.

Any combination of the above yields similar results. Open Manage Emulators -> Associated platforms. do nothing. All the popups open confirming defaults. close launchbox. - > background process takes FOREVER. This has been happening for me also for some time I cannot answer from which release it started. I then have to click on another platform then like 5-10 seconds later it goes back to the platform I was editing like nothing ever happened. I've seen two others post this issue before in the beta just can't locate them. Edit: @mcfilmmakers suggest you try the latest beta for me its now a 5 second lag, seems if cancel is pressed it doesn't do its check, but if you make no change and press OK does its check and takes about 5 seconds now and I don't have to click on another platform for it to unfreeze. From the beta notes I don't see anything changed in the betas for this so don't know what changed. With the video below I tried with debugging off first then turned on after, same performance. Edit1: Deleting a platform takes a really long time to update unless you click on another platform. Edit: Happening still example.mp4 Edited July 8, 2020 by wallmachine

Interesting, so there seems to be some correlation at least. I have checked for duplicates and definitely no other Quake game in my collection. C-Beats
@Thornback Yeah. We are kind of at the mercy of the storefronts API's as far as what we can see. I've been looking around to see if there are better endpoints we can use, but some games have been removed from the API responses entirely (I have a few I know of in my collection). Krakerman
Thanks for the lastest update guys! Just a quick mention .... why is it when we right click and see list of all the additional apps we have assigned to any game? Can you just add an option to not see those when you right click. In my case I have multiple programs and only maybe 1 of those would be useful to see or use when I right click as it's a pdf but the others are for when LB runs the game and would not want to launch them from right clicking on the game. Thanks again guys! Edited May 19, 2020 by Krakerman
mcfilmmakers
Importing games isn't working right. As you can see from the screenshots, I can grab 5 files for split MAME (all the same game). Drag them into launchbox and select combine same title games. Launchbox is reporting 4 games found (WTF?). It then finishes saying 2 games succesfully imported. However, only 1 game shows up in the games list and there are only 3 in the additional apps. It seems like the 2nd game (Undercover Cops - Alpha Renewal Version) doesn't import at all (two of the 5 rom files are of this version and those are the 2 missing from the additional apps). This happens no matter what group of roms I import. If 2 games are "successfully saved", only 1 shows up. Launchbox is set to show hidden and broken files so that's not the issue. As for why the 5th file didn't import at all, I have no idea, they were all dragged together. PS. Thank you so much Jason and C-Beats for your work! I think the reason that game is missing is because the MAME database the LB team have uploaded excludes that game. uccopsaru was released in MAME 0.220 on apr-06 2020 so maybe they haven't updated the database yet. I can't answer when they update the database as the last modified date it shows for me is Saturday, 22 June 2019, 7:51:04 AM. \LaunchBox\Metadata\Mame.xml <MameFile> <FileName>uccops</FileName> <Name>Undercover Cops</Name> <Status>good</Status> <Developer /> <Publisher>Irem</Publisher> <Year>1992</Year> <IsMechanical>false</IsMechanical> <Version>(World)</Version> <Region>World</Region> <IsBootleg>false</IsBootleg> <IsPrototype>false</IsPrototype> <IsHack>false</IsHack> <IsMature>false</IsMature> <IsQuiz>false</IsQuiz> <IsFruit>false</IsFruit> <IsCasino>false</IsCasino> <IsRhythm>false</IsRhythm> <IsTableTop>false</IsTableTop> <IsPlayChoice>false</IsPlayChoice> <IsMahjong>false</IsMahjong> <IsNonArcade>false</IsNonArcade> <Genre>Fighter / 2.5D</Genre> <PlayMode>3P sim</PlayMode> <Language>English</Language> <Source>m92.cpp</Source> </MameFile> <MameFile> <FileName>uccopsar</FileName> <Name>Undercover Cops - Alpha Renewal Version</Name> <CloneOf>uccops</CloneOf> <Status>good</Status> <Developer /> <Publisher>Irem</Publisher> <Year>1992</Year> <IsMechanical>false</IsMechanical> <IsBootleg>false</IsBootleg> <IsPrototype>false</IsPrototype> <IsHack>false</IsHack> <IsMature>false</IsMature> <IsQuiz>false</IsQuiz> <IsFruit>false</IsFruit> <IsCasino>false</IsCasino> <IsRhythm>false</IsRhythm> <IsTableTop>false</IsTableTop> <IsPlayChoice>false</IsPlayChoice> <IsMahjong>false</IsMahjong> <IsNonArcade>false</IsNonArcade> <Genre>Fighter / 2.5D</Genre> <PlayMode>3P sim</PlayMode> <Language>English</Language> <Source>m92.cpp</Source> </MameFile> <MameFile> <FileName>uccopsj</FileName> <Name>Undercover Cops</Name> <CloneOf>uccops</CloneOf> <Status>good</Status> <Developer /> <Publisher>Irem</Publisher> <Year>1992</Year> <IsMechanical>false</IsMechanical> <Version>(Japan)</Version> <Region>Japan</Region> <IsBootleg>false</IsBootleg> <IsPrototype>false</IsPrototype> <IsHack>false</IsHack> <IsMature>false</IsMature> <IsQuiz>false</IsQuiz> <IsFruit>false</IsFruit> <IsCasino>false</IsCasino> <IsRhythm>false</IsRhythm> <IsTableTop>false</IsTableTop> <IsPlayChoice>false</IsPlayChoice> <IsMahjong>false</IsMahjong> <IsNonArcade>false</IsNonArcade> <Genre>Fighter / 2.5D</Genre> <PlayMode>3P sim</PlayMode> <Language>Japanese</Language> <Source>m92.cpp</Source> </MameFile> <MameFile> <FileName>uccopsu</FileName> <Name>Undercover Cops</Name> <CloneOf>uccops</CloneOf> <Status>good</Status> <Developer /> <Publisher>Irem</Publisher> <Year>1992</Year> <IsMechanical>false</IsMechanical> <Version>(US)</Version> <Region>North America</Region> <IsBootleg>false</IsBootleg> <IsPrototype>false</IsPrototype> <IsHack>false</IsHack> <IsMature>false</IsMature> <IsQuiz>false</IsQuiz> <IsFruit>false</IsFruit> <IsCasino>false</IsCasino> <IsRhythm>false</IsRhythm> <IsTableTop>false</IsTableTop> <IsPlayChoice>false</IsPlayChoice> <IsMahjong>false</IsMahjong> <IsNonArcade>false</IsNonArcade> <Genre>Fighter / 2.5D</Genre> <PlayMode>3P sim</PlayMode> <Language>English</Language> <Source>m92.cpp</Source> </MameFile> <MameListItem> <FileName>uccops</FileName> <GameName>Undercover Cops (World)</GameName> <ListName>Irem Classics</ListName> </MameListItem> <MameListItem> <FileName>uccopsar</FileName> <GameName>Undercover Cops - Alpha Renewal Version</GameName> <ListName>Irem Classics</ListName> </MameListItem> <MameListItem> <FileName>uccopsj</FileName> <GameName>Undercover Cops (Japan)</GameName> <ListName>Irem Classics</ListName> </MameListItem> <MameListItem> <FileName>uccopsu</FileName> <GameName>Undercover Cops (US)</GameName> <ListName>Irem Classics</ListName> </MameListItem> Edited May 19, 2020 by wallmachine
