Yeah I pretty much felt the same way when I finally converted to using RetroArch.

I was a SSF user up until July last year when the RA stuff started to come out even from its 1st release it greatly improved and simplified emulating Sega Saturn.

1st off if you are using Mednafen or the Mednafen Saturn core in retroarch you don't need any type of disk mounting software. These are what would be recommended as your best Saturn emulation option by most of the members of the community. Also if you get your games from the right places they will come with .cue files included and you shouldn't have to create any manually.

Yeah so if you have a set after 174 or somewhere around there LB won't find anything new since it hasn't been updated since being implemented.

As far as I know LB works with every version of MAME as long as you have a close to corresponding ROM set to use with it.

Redump is considered to be good and Dark Water (but I don't know if I've ever seen them have PS1 dumps)

yeah just follow what is there already and add the line its crashing before it gets a chance to write it I think is what happens.

So video driver should be d3d and if it doesn't say menu driver you may have to create the line yourself

As a heads up for computers with HD3000 graphics I had to change both the graphics and menu drivers from the default in order to get them to work.

You have to use NotePad++ to edit your paths 1st close LB then open any one of your platform xmls found in Launchblox\data\platforms folder and hit ctrl f and open the find form then type in your original path and hit the count button to make sure it is seeing your games the results should display at the bottom if it finds your games then go and hit the replace tab now add the path to where your ROMs are now and click replace all go to the menu click file go to save and that should be that close NP++ open LB and it should be fixed.

I've been experiencing this when playing MAME games through either LB/BB. I've been assuming it is a MAME issue and hadn't seen anyone else reporting it. I have a multiple monitor setup and the focus will leave my portrait monitor and my controller starts to change things on the in LB on the landscape monitor it is really annoying.

you wouldn't need to make your own DB you would just need to connect to one of the existing ones API but either way its pretty firmly been stated before that there won't be any additional media types being supported by the program unless it in the distant future so the point is moot

Not really your best bet is too remove all the games from that platform and re-import them. Are you using MAME as the emulator? If so the option to exclude those categories should come up if they don't you can always use the back button to find the chechbox Force using MAME metadata on the Would you like to specify any custom options form.

Dude they are named ODroid because they run Android which is not Windows. When you search for something look for the OS if it says it runs Windows then it will work otherwise it will not.

huh! you can run it with pretty much any joystick but if you mean can you run it on a pi then the answer is no as pi can't run Windows. I have this computer right here it cost more than a pi but it runs Windows the same manufacturers make both the t08 and t09 model and I would suggest one of those as it comes with a newer processor and 4GB of RAM but it also increases the price.

@Beatlemaniac19 just as a suggestion with the new platforms category options you could make a platform category called hacks or homebrews or whatever you want and have all your ROM hacks in there and if you use categories all you ever have to see is the one category labeled hacks unless you hit the plus to show the contents of the category. I personally find the categories greatly cleans up the appearance in both LB and BB

No not at this time its just Windows 7 -10 As for the best I've only ran it on 10 so can't really say.

Just remember if you plan on using this for Dreamcast and you get the183 or upward pack the dc.zip file has now been split into 3 separate files (dc.zip, dceu.zip and dcjp.zip) and you will need to unzip them all put all the files in a dc folder and then zip it up to make the bios that Demul is looking for.
