  1. So this would be the error Starting game:D:\LaunchBox\Games\Aamber Pegasus\TANK12_T2R.bin RetroArch [libretro WARN] :: Driver TANK12_T2R not found -1 RetroArch [libretro ERROR] :: Driver not found TANK12_T2R RetroArch [libretro WARN] :: Driver Aamber Pegasus not found -1 RetroArch [libretro ERROR] :: System not found: Aamber Pegasus Im really patchy on this stuff and not sure how the cmd line stuff works. Looks to me like it is ignoring your cmd line and looking for the bios/driver in the same folder as the rom. (I could be totally wrong...its the 3rd RA log I have ever read) Maybe try disabling softlists in the core options
  2. I was checking out discord the other day and I believe it was @lordmonkus that linked to a git repo of images previewing the majority of default retroarch shader effects..... Que a week of Atom text editting and GitHub learning!! I added all the availiable images to the Libretro Documentation website found here https://buildbot.libretro.com/docs/ Under Shader Previews I thought the info needed a more visible loacation. Give your thaks to HunterK of Libretro forums for the hard work making the images originally Side note there has been some nice additions to the documentaion this week. Markwkidd added an availiable input drivers guide amd a MAME2003 core library guide/overview. All in all a good week and a Libretro docs is a nice little project for the inexperienced like me to give back to. Have a good weekend all
  3. You should change the title of this post to the BIG list of small things!! nice work on the list.
  4. Those look sweet.....not many people make game bezels and these look very impressive. thanks for the heads up

    Live Streams?

I think his last post was the 22nd so with Brads exit and no streams Im guessing there are some issues keeping him away. Maybe let him take a breath
  6. Bit of a shocker... Best of luck in all your future endeavors Now you have been WWE'd :wink
  7. Clear guide thanks for sharing It's this what a symbolic link is? Seen it mentioned many times by the experienced people but it's all foreign to me!
  8. Cool. I may consider dusting off my build and trying to fit in an Xbox next year. i wonder how you think this will fair i5-4960T Mb-Asus Z95 Msi 750Ti low profile dual vengeance 4gb ram just need to sort a PSU, case and upgrade storage. Got an 128gb ssd
  9. That looks sweet!! What was the build cost in the end?
  10. Ok i think I know what that is. In Input settings there is a menu select gampad combo. Turn that off as by default its Start+Select. Now for your setup in the hotkeys menu i said about earlier assign your "enable hotkey" to start and "quit" key to select That will give you the combo for exit (hit start 1st hold then select)...as a side effect any other hotkeys you have setup like fastforward or save state will require you to hit Start before the other key Just got to make sure it doesnt clash with other setups. Make some backups or a test setup while you get this stuff sorted out....controlling multiple systems is fairly hard to wrap ones head around
  11. Did you use SCP (ScarletCrushProductions) for the PS3 to Xbox driver? Afaik thats the one to use. Used it myself a couple of years back and still works now. Also works with bluetooth so long as you have a dedicated dongle. Not sure on your exit method for games in RetroArch but you can setup a new Hotkey in RA settings-》input-》 input hotkey binds-》 Set it to an availiable key thats not escape and then it should give you a clean exit from retroarch. Theres a few other options for that im a bit hazey on in PC use but there are ways to get you setup just need to keep digging
  12. You can manually download them from here if it helps. https://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/windows/x86_64/latest/ Its where the Online Updater grabs them from for Windows 64bit
  13. cool. Your name is in every file name! If you remeber please @ tag me when you update....If not I'm sure I will spot them at some point
  14. For those that want to batch the creation of .cfg files for things like this let me know....I have a guide over at Hyperspin I just need to put it somewhere more neatural if people are interested. @MetalVinnie I just set these up and you bring a very cool original theme for bezels afaik...not seen many specific packs like this before. If its ok with you I would like to add them to the "official" libretro repo for this stuff (although they like me to PNGCrush them 1st) I linked it in the download section comments. This is the release format I will go with. [creator-name][specifics][bezel-name] MetalVinnie_NES_BlackBox_Games.zip
  15. Apologies for butting into this thread but it was a good read. OP's questions have been answered afaik. i love this little nugget of info. Is there a thread for it anywhere? i see Amiga is not listed for an emulator. would that be winuae?
  16. Like many people here I am a RetroArch whore That means I use Overlays to add borders to some things...To fair I dont actually use many overlays but then again my setup has never been polished and tends to be a testing ground more than an actual game machine. Cant help but tinker.... Anyway I totally love bezel artwork and enjoy collecting bezels for all systems (not so much Arcade) I would love to put a big global pack together in Metalzoic's Mega Bezel Pack style (if your familiar) for everything except Arcade.....PM me if your interested. I guess the size of a pack like that will probably need a home on a decent server. I expect EmuMovies is the obvious place if they will have it. So here are my ongoing projects.... Adding Overlays to the Libretro Repo's...They are free to download from the below links. Just click "clone" and "download as zip" Console Type Mainly or Collections like @Nyny77 and @nosh at the moment. https://github.com/libretro/overlay-borders Arcade Type (RetroArch is well suited to Arcade Overlays....best use MAME or RocketLauncher) https://github.com/libretro/arcade-overlays I also just started helping out @JamesBaker with his Bezel efforts All that info will be here eventually http://emulationguide.com/james-baker or his YouTube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxNgRrtLSth94xOHNUHqUfw @MetalVinnie are you cool for me to share your New Black Box NES bezels in the above places? (When time permits) If you missed those they are here I LOVE A BEZEL
  17. The other great feature not mentioned in RocketLauncher is that it supports most Frontends, so if you want to swap in the future (when Launchbox gets knocked off top spot ?) it will probably be easier. Then again by that time things will probably have changed!! For sure it's another layer for the OP to learn but it can handle all your emulators forever (so long as modulas get love) You will always want to setup your emulators so for that reason I will use RL when setting up my PC. Then when it's done I can do whatever I want with a frontend
  18. Black with red textbox looks spot on dark red is better than light but maybe the text needs to be a little brighter or the textbox darker imo whatever you choose this is one super nice theme
  19. FYI still there http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forums/topic/170-do-you-like-hyperspin/?page=20 Last post May 30th
  20. FYI keep a fairly close eye on the Hyperspin activity feed and not seen any posts in those threads for sometime and I def dont remember anything worse coming up than past post. Not sure when/if they were removed.

  22. Yep went with the stones (small ones :))
  23. There is a Kodi plugin which utilises your BigBox install... that works on the Nvidia Shield. Slipsystems Unofficial Kodi Plugin
  24. Well as I write this I'm currently locked out of the house ? The damn wind caught door, which swiftly slammed behind me when popping to my van.... best bit is the household is asleep now do I throw stones at window to wake the Wife up or try and get in a window and risk making enough noise for her to think an earthquake struck.... Rock and a hard place spring to mind
  25. Im wondering the same thing right now....need to start getting a proper setup going. All my stuff is all over the place. Im wondering how big will the media state of things be in a big setup. I might try and figure out what size the media would be per game. Then add in the basic per platform size of a, theme etc
