  1. Welcome to the community. Are you sure you unzipped it correctly? Some times when you unzip you end up doubling up the folder, when you double click the Cleanbg folder in Launchbox/Themes is there another cleanbg folder inside it? There shouldn't be, there should just be a bunch of folders and files.
  2. Cool, glad we could help you get this fixed.
  3. As @lordmonkus said that is a strange one. Have you tried deleting the Default controls .cfg and opening mame again, is it still greyed out? The config is in mame/cfg and is simply named default.cfg.
  4. I have tried this myself in the past, i wanted to play Guitar Hero Metallica on PCSX2 using my old xbox 360 guitar hero controller. I never could get it to work. The guitar is recognised just fine in windows using the xbox 360 wireless adapter i have, but i could never get it working in PCSX2, so i ended up getting the windows version of Guitar Hero 3 and playing that. If you manage to get this working @Blackdog can you let us know how (not that i could probably play it now after spending 2 years using the newer guitar hero live controller on PS4).
  5. Unfortunately there is no way to start a video further in or to skip to a certain time in the video. There is however a tool by @CriticalCid that will actually trim the start of the video's in batch if you would like to go that route.
  6. Those clear logo's in your pic are the default ones that come with Launchbox, that is why you only have the default category logo's and no playlist one. You will have to use a different logo for playlists or swap all the logos for a different set.
  7. Welcome to the community. Platform video's will be in Launchbox/Videos/Platforms.
  8. I think i am right in saying that the cloud sync simple doesn't work anymore. It was a feature that know one really used when it was introduced (a long time ago), so time, money and effort were put to other parts of the program that users actually used and wanted. Sorry i'm sure that's not the answer you wanted, but that is where it stands at the moment.
  9. No, Bigbox and Launchbox are the same if you reinstalled beta 11 BB and Lb will be the same. If you are seeing Bigbox as beta 16 and Launchbox as beta 11 then you most likely have two different installs on your system.
  10. No probs, there is also a new program called Parsec that supposedly works over the internet as well. Haven't tried it yet myself, but might be worth a look.
  11. No probs, be aware though that they are on US time, so it's the middle of the night there, and it's also a Sunday, so there will probably be a delayed response to a E-Mail sent now.
  12. You can E-Mail support@unbrokensoftware.com and explain your situation to them.
  13. Hi and welcome to the community. This is already possible in launchbox, you can add any .exe on your system.I would suggest going to tools/manage platforms and creating a new platform, say Windows Programs, you can then use the add button in the bottom right to add a .exe just choose the platform from the dropdown towards the top right of the new window then browse to your .exe. Here is a shot of the window.
  14. This method works just fine, here is how you do it. Download a fresh RA or just copy and paste your current one, then go to manage emulators in Launchbox and add a new emulator call what you like then point to the second Retroarch .exe. Then go to your assoiciated platforms tab and make sure it has the correct core for the system, then click your master system in the left bar click a master system game then ctrl a to highlight them all, then right click and choose edit. In the first dropdown choose emulator, then the second box choose your second Retroarch. You will of course have to set your options and overlay and save the core override like like i described in your other thread.
  15. Yeah, unfortunately this is just a limitation of the way retroarch currently works, there is no real good way around it apart from duplicating your retroarch and adding it to launchbox under a different name. Or you could use the picodrive core for the other system.
  16. That's a tricky one, i have the same problem and just ended using a megadrive border for both those systems. The only way i can think of off hand is to have a second Retroarch on your system, it would need to be named slightly different like Retroarch 2 or something and use that install for the other platform.
  17. You must of been using quite a old retroarch as this changed a while ago. It's now in the quick menu when you have a specific core loaded, so you load the core you wan't to edit make all your changes then go to the quick menu, and at the bottom will be a save core override and a save game override, just select the appropriate option and it will auto load next time you load that core.
  18. Although you changed the emulator in manage emulators the actual games don't no that you have changed it. Just click on a gba game then ctrl a to highlight them all, then right click and choose edit, in the first dropdown choose emulator, in the second your new emulator, that should do it for you.
  19. I don't believe this is possible at the moment, unless you can find a way in the VLC .cfg in the launchbox folder to force to a different screen. If you do find a way, then please share.
  20. In launchbox go to Tools/Options/Updates and check the download betas box. Then close and re-open Launchbox and you will be prompted.
  21. This should be fixed in the latest beta.
