  1. I don't recommend using save folders since it's a bit buggy. For example, I got a Metal Gear Solid 3: Substance (USA) save file corrupted using folders. Some other games Like X-files Resist or Serve will always fail to find any save file from a previous session. Also, I'd recommend using OpenGL (Hardware) as your default video renderer, it's more accurate than any Hardware DirectX renderer. The latter is missing a lot of shadows and effect in a lot of games.
  2. Remember that the background's text must be displaced so it's readable both horizontally and vertically. Look at the Sega systems for an example.
  3. Pixel perfect screenshots of old systems usually suffer from bad aspect ratio, if you don't resize them to 320x240 or 640x480 they won't look how they were intended to look on a 4:3 CRT TV or monitor; the target display for old systems.
  4. Amazing theme! Nice job with the video border. The file-size is a little too high though. I'd recommend a final pass in Handbrake using 20-22 crf and x265 for minimum file-size.
  5. You already managed to change the names of most of the official games, please change them back to what they were. Fix your screwed up.
  6. I don't have a problem if the devs of those games decide to name them differently, just put the name they chose on the db, just don't touch the names of the official games for no reason.
  7. Colons are ignored when scraping, no need to remove them from the name. I don't see the point of the changes. The accent on the é and the colon is on every English database and official page of those games. Also, you're wrong, alternate names are used when scrapping names, that's the whole point of them. Just search "Project Zero" and you'll get Fatal Frame games every time. It's a bad idea to butcher the official name for ALL people in the event of a small number of users that have poorly named games. I'm rejecting all those name changes.
  8. I'm not a big fan of playlists so only have a few, the default ones that come with the Arcade, one for favorites, NES mini and SNES mini. That's it.
  9. I've noticed that the game icons that appear when you hover over a game's cover are missing in this theme. Are they gone for good or not implemented yet?
  10. New default theme? Thanks, I hate it. just kidding, I like it a lot! Seems to me it's also faster than the old ones.
  11. Right click on your game, then select Edit, a window with details and images should appear, right click where the images are and select "Add images" after adding them don't forget to right click them and change the image type to the correct one.
  12. Most themes have multiple views, one of them being showing videos fullscreen. You need to change to that view by pressing the change view button. You can assign it to a key or a button in the options menu in Bigbox. Also, remember to check "Prioritize Theme videos" in the "Videos" section.
Just trailer videos without any editiing...
  13. When going back from "all games" on BigBox, it takes you to a previous selected filter (Like regions or publisher) instead of the options menu. Is that the intended behaviour?
  14. Video themes are only for BigBox. Make sure you put them under the right folder and you set BB to prefer video themes over videosnaps. Video themes name must match game's name and must be placed in a "Theme" folder inside the video folder of the platform.
  15. Games with unskippable cutscenes, specially before a hard boss.
  16. League of Legends. I could write a 100000 words essay about the things that frustrate you about that game.
  17. For templates, your best bet is to search for them in Deviantart and VGBoxart.
