  1. @soqueroeu @Hazuki The loading bar code from the default theme typically will only work if, for the emulator of choice, you have the option to "extract rom" on launch of a game. At least that is how Jason explained the option. I just tested this theme with a unzipped NES rom and a zipped rom through Retroarch. Without the "extract rom" option ticked the load bar does not show.
  2. Good. We have been recommending if using EMuMovies and downloading media for large amount of games do it in chunks and do it after you have imported the games. So import roms then go back and select a portion of them and download media in chunks from Emu. It is a slow work around, but not much we can do since it appears to be an API issue.
  3. Test with just the GamesDB and uncheck the box that mentions Rough Matching and let us know if any changes download speed. We know there is an issue with the current EmuMovies API that is causing some timeout issues. Team has been trying to find some good work around things until Emu can update the API.
  4. Are you downloading images only from The GamesDB or from EmuMovies as well? Also, be sure to uncheck the option for "Rough Matches" as that slows down the download tremendously depending on the volume of media.
  5. Unless you are actually using music files in your set-up, no. The platform videos you would download from within LB are videos with music in them.
  6. There are quite a few posts on this. The issue is with Epic's API and the team has resolved this in the latest beta. So you can either opt in for this beta (in LB >Tools>Options look in the Updates section) or wait for the next stable release which might be a few weeks out.
  7. Issue resolved on Discord. Reformatting USB drive to NTFS corrected the issue.
  8. Step to do this is on their site. https://www.pinballfx.com/?page_id=7754
  9. There is not a pdf for this.
  10. Excited to see these. Now time to fix some Marquee views and finish up other ones. Main thing I wanted was the image group.
  11. Well, if you set Mame up to work with 2 monitors that is the reason the LB/BB marquee will not show. Mame is taking over the second monitor during game play. It will only work if you have Mame settings linked to only 1 monitor.
  12. We do appreciate the requests, but it is a feature request and not actually related to the beta updates that were released. We have been having way too many unnecessary posts so beta threads should be used for providing feedback relative to the actual updates in the specific betas (is a new feature working, did something break, etc...). We are trying to ensure the devs do not have to weed through anything not actually related to what they released so they can quickly see the feedback. Also tracking feature requests in posts is not easy so the bitbucket is the best avenue.
  13. Please keep feature requests out of beta threads. All feature requests should be done using the “Feature Request” button located at the top of the forum under “Help & Support”.
  14. It currently cannot. You have to set its location in the "Parents" folder when LB opens up the Edit Playlist window.
  15. Retroarch docs lets you know what core runs what. Under the "Core Library: Emulation" section if you click on each name it tells you which cores run them.
  16. What controller and what button are you trying to use? I assume you are using a controller. A bit confusing as you go on to ask about "press exit key". Can you bind that button to any other option to see if BB accepts it?
  17. You can create any image media you want for systems. Just need to make sure you name them correctly and file in the correct folders. I would spend a few minutes looking in the \Images folders and you will see how LB likes things named and filed. What do you mean by "custom collections for roms"? Do you mean Playlists?
  18. The file i posted is only for LBPlex. The Rincewind theme would need its file updated.
  19. You do not have to map for every game, but you will have to map for each emulator you choose to add to LB to run games. LB does have mapping settings, but it is for use within the LB/BB UI and not for use when playing games. You will need to map game control in each emulator. Retroarch for example has a universal mapping for all cores as well as the ability to map specific controls for certain systems if you prefer.
  20. Yeah, unfortunately the theme developers who made Launchbox themes will need to update the theme to include the new button. Drop this in the LBPlex theme's \Views folder. It has the button added. SideBarView.xaml
  21. This could be an issue due to an update to the BigBox Wheel and CoverFlow properties that took place over the past few releases. I think the updates started in 11.10. The theme might need an update. What Wheel View are you using? If you go into BigBox settings and go the the Views page it will tell you what Platform view you are using.
  22. BigBoxSettings.xaml contains the information. If you already downloaded the theme you can also simply go into BigBox setting, head to Views, and then change the theme there.
  23. @kart074 I deleted the other thread. No need to start a new one even if you posted in wrong forum. I moved this one for you. I will tag @C-Beats to see if he can provide any ideas.
  24. When I click the image type name the drop down box does show the defaults for me. Try reinstalling the latest version.
  25. No it was not removed. Working fine here. On latest stable release and tested on the last released beta just in case. If you click on the button with the image type name (the one next to the Plus symbol what does it show.
