  1. Please do not start new threads for the same issue. I also recommend a little patience our forum is small and we do not have as many users posting help responses as larger communities would have. I have merged your threads. I am not sure why the audio would work and not the video. Inside the BigBox video settings can you change between either VLC or Windows Media and see if that changes anything. What is your video's file type?
  2. What version are you on? Startup videos changed a long time ago (version 7.12) and the current process to place any videos you want used in a \Videos\Startup folder. There is no minimum of maximum time setting either since BB now plays the videos in full regardless of their length. There really is not a setting for the video to play when BigBox startups up. Just add the folder, the video (or multiple video) and go. The video you are using does play if you just open it correct? Can you post a pic of the inside of the folder showing how you set it up and the contents.
  3. No you should not need anything else. 11.16beta 1 was the version that had the "Object Reference" issue many had and it was fixed in beta 2. If you want to try beta 2 you can. If it does not work the only thing you need to do is going into your \Updates folder an run the installer for the last version that was working for you and have it install over top the current build. It will not delete or change anything. This is how you could have done it to go back to 11.15 instead of installing to a new folder and copying everything over.
  4. Are you able to start LB at all? LB crashes usually do not delete prior settings and media that have been downloaded. Are you able to see any of the media downloaded before the crash occurred inside your LB Images and Videos folders? I am not sure on the true cause of the error in your pics, but it has been reported before and the latest beta seemed to fix the "Object Reference..." error for those of use who experienced it.
  5. Working fine here.
  6. Check your Antivirus. There were some instances with recent Windows updates that errantly quarantined some LB and BB dll files.
  7. Yeah, this was a feature requested as far back as 2017. So it is nice to see it finally make the cut to becoming a feature.
  8. For the platform level that requires platform videos. In the second picture that is actually a fullscreen video. So all the art on the screen is not individual pieces, but an actual video of everything. Have you downloaded platform videos? If you have you may then need to change views in the theme. Each theme can contain multiple views that will dictate what elements are shown on screen. You can change views easily by binding a button/key to that option in the controller and/or keyboard mapping. This is easiest way as you can be in the theme and change views on the fly to see the change instantly. To get rid of the second screen when launching a game go into the View options in BigBox settings and uncheck the button for "Show Game Details Page". Or something similar to that. I cannot remember the exact wording.
  9. What are you looking to do with the Home Button? Many use it to exit a game back to LB/BB.
  10. The best thing you can do if use our Request a Feature link located at the top of the forum under "Help & Support". Open a feature request and then come back to this thread and link that ticket. This way you can drive users there and it is easier for us to track interest in these features. Xbox controller already works pretty seamlessly with BigBox.
  11. Make sure map the button or combo button to quit the game to the option for "Close Active Window". The one for "Exit" is to exit BigBox.
  12. Yeah. The \Data folders cannot have extra files not generated by LB directly. So if you make backups or use something like Skraper that makes these backups you must store them outside the \Data folders.
  13. What version LB are you on? In your \Data\Platforms folder do you have any backup or secondary platform name .xaml files? This can cause issues.
  14. What errors are you getting? (can you post a pic). We have seen issues with EmuMovies API timing out and I think the team is looking into it. Current work around is to Import your games first then run the image downloads afterwards. Since some issues are coming from timeouts with the EMumovies we would recommend if you want to get media from them run it in blocks of say 500 games. Also recommend unchecking the option for "Rough Matching" as that increases download times.
  15. Go to task manager and check if you have Nahimic Services running. This is known to cause issues. Here is a thread on the issue.
  16. @C-Beats Emulator error fixed, formatting or scripts error in AHK tabs fixed.
  17. Exit is so you can exit BigBox with a button.
  18. Unsure of a workaround, but there were some fixes in LB since 11.9 that helped issues with additional apps. So not sure what kind of license you have, but if you are able to update I would recommend trying the latest stable version.
  19. Thanks @jayjay for confirming. Plugins are not something I have skillful knowledge in.
  20. In the current state of the Pause Menu it would likely require a plugin though I am not sure if possible.
  21. There is not a setting. You would have to edit the theme’s code. I am not aware of another theme right now that has a delay like this only because I have not tested them all.
  22. Yeah. Does seem to either come back immediately or after some time. Played around a lot more this morning and after a bit the errors returned.
  23. A couple of my builds did have a bunch of emulators that needed fixing. Since doing so I have not had the issue return.
  24. If you want to revert you can run the last stable update located in your \Updates folder. While I can understand bugs can be aggravating if the beta’s bug are too big an issue for you I suggest not running betas. They are betas for a reason and we look for users to help provide feedback of found bugs.
