    Software List support was on the last poll but sadly finished 26th out of 40 hopefully it will someday make it in to LB.

    1st beta should be out shortly so be on the look out. As a disclaimer don't think its going to be on par with the desktop version out the gate. I believe at this stage it more of a companion app then anything.

    can you get the UI to open without a game?

    could it be that you have it set to a resolution that won't load in the ini file? I'm using the model 2 emulator pointed at my MAME folder for the directory so its using the latest ROM set and working no issues just ran a few different versions of Daytona and ran HOTD to set it up to run for US region so I get the winners don't use drugs logo (no wonder I'm such a loser) in the beginning.

    try turning of the start screens for that platform and see if that fixes it.

    yeah without a command argument in the line specifying the system and media type its never going to work so once you add that it should work.

    have you error checked your drive. Open file explorer got to This PC right click the drive in question then go to properties. Go to tools and then run the error check and even if Windows tells you that you don't need to run it run it anyway. When if finishes it will give you an option to see details (if it finds errors I believe) click that and it will open event viewer there it will tell you if the error check fixed everything or if you need to run a chkdsk /f on the drive or not

    glad I could help but mostly I like playing around in the service menu and seeing all what it can do. For that game I turned on Free Play and the Demo sound when I tested it this morning.

    most likely some other program or driver interfering in the background. If you have a GPU make sure you have the latest drivers. If its Nvidia do you have any of the GeoForce Experience software that has caused issues in the past on some systems same for MSI Afterburner and Rivo Tuner (and yes I know some people use these without issues my point is that others have fixed issues by disabling those programs in the past so please no posts saying they work on your system)

    yeah as the games advanced they went from having dip switches to service menus there is a way to get into them but I'm not sure offhand what the buttons are to get into it. After checking seems like F2 will take you into the service menu. The go to game configuration and turn on demo sound

    open MAME without a game loaded go to configuration options click on it then go to save configuration despite the fact you didn't change anything this will create the ini file.

    in your ini folder do you have a game specific ini for that game if so you will have to turn off the setting there or it will over ride the setting in the MAME.ini

    That list is actually the UI for a MAME derivative so they are getting the info directly from with in the program

    yeah the CHD set is currently 492GB and a lot of those aren't playable (in MAME) some however can be used in Demul to run Naomi and Naomi 2 GDI games.

    Yeah took this long to get LB on a second platform lets not jump out the window and try to turn it into Plex or RetroArch which both run on smart refrigerators. Okay not really but I feel Plex is a program where now they worry so much about adding new platforms they never actually add an new features.

    Also in the future you should keep a copy of your LB data folder on another drive or even in the cloud, this way when (not if) your drive fails you just download that application plop that back into your LB folder and then your setup is back up you just need to grab the media for it again.

    yeah that maybe possible my Logitech G27 has a dpad and buttons on it but I have no clue if it works in LB.

    Unfortunately it isn't currently supported in BB.

    In the past MSI Afterburner (RivaTuner) has been know to cause issues with LB/BB.

    Do those games require CHD files (I know the Area 51's do) and do you have CHD files.
