  1. Not sure, but I just tried this plugin yesterday and it seems to be broken now or it stops at the very last step, perhaps caused by recent updates to LaunchBox or to a Windows update. I'll do a little more investigating, and I know there's one other (similar) method available that was mentioned here. UPDATE I found the other plugin which may work, but I won't be able to try this until later today
  2. Seems to be coming along nicely! Looking forward to the release
  3. It's a little more complicated than your usual emulator and requires a few extra steps Try this tutorial and plugin, which should do the job:
  4. Thanks a lot! That worked!
  5. It's the LBPlex theme
  6. Just wondering, can the same process be applied to mame high scores? With the custom themes, they can't be seen on the sidebar except with the default theme. I looked in the code for the theme I'm using, but I had no idea how to add that in there
  7. There's a lot of decent tutorials out there, and it's not too difficult to set up, besides the fact that games are usually in folders (after being installed from .pkg files). I had to remove my original youtube link after I watched it, as it wasn't all that informative. But there are certainly more to find on youtube. Also, rpcs3 doesn't require any special commands in the emulator options, but I do recommend using this plugin/tool to import games properly into Launchbox/BigBox
  8. @Orionsangel great work once again! Would be nice to see that one modified with a Sega Genesis logo (replaced) in the future
  9. Awesome work! Can't wait to try this, which will happen later today when I get home
  10. Wow! These are extremely well made! Would love to see something made for the Playstation models as well
  11. @exodus_cl this is an incredibly nice looking theme! I was just wondering if you'd be willing to share the Community theme files you used? My only gripe/complaint is with the gameslist view. I'd like to replace the screenshot with a game video (or screenshot when the video isn't available), in addition to removing that black box behind it.
  12. Thanks a lot for that info! I was having the same issue, and the loading screens now work when I reduced it to less than 5 seconds.
  13. No problem! Glad to hear you got it working, and I'd definitely try the Retroarch core since it works pretty well too
  14. That's a very common issue, and a while back I found the solution. In the default command line parameters (for MAME) add the following: -video gdi channelf -cart And also you can play Channel F games with Retroarch, using the freechaf core. I just tried it now and it seems to be running smoothly
  15. Glad to hear you got it working, based on my advice from over two years ago?
  16. Glad to hear you got it working. I think there's a theme video like that in the "Unified Refried" theme somewhere. You can find it here https://forums.launchbox-app.com/files/file/1501-refried-theme-platform-video-set/
  17. No problem at all! That should work and like Neil said, be sure to refresh the cache in Bigbox, Options/Image Cache.
  18. It should already be there, but I'd make the "Playlists" folder and then add a folder in that with the exact name of your playlists, and then add these sub-folders in that folder: Banner, Clear Logo, Device, Fanart
  19. There should be a folder like this (example: sports) C:\launchbox\Images\Playlists\Sports Games\Clear Logo That's where you should put the logo
  20. No worries! When all else fails, I just copy and paste images until I find what works. Just keep in mind though, if you place any logos in the "images" folder of Retrofresh, they'll only work with that particular theme
  21. Which theme are you using? RetroFresh? You may need to copy that logo-image into the "Clear Logo" folder for "Playlists". And then refresh the images in options
  22. I wouldn't worry about it, because in general, a lot of antivirus programs (including Microsoft's) identify false positives, and IMHO it's their method of persuading the customer into believing that their software is "doing a great job" and should (ultimately) be renewed for another subscription. Otherwise, I'd say if you downloaded launchbox from one of those shady websites out there, it could be a legit virus.
