  1. Great work! Looking forward to the release of this pack!
  2. No problem! And be sure to check the latest updates on the vice nightly page if something is broke or not working properly http://vice.pokefinder.org/?
  3. Just checking something first, did you check "Save settings on exit"? (at the bottom of the settings menu)
  4. This isn't really necessary if you use DolphinWx.exe which is included in the program's folder. However, this script seems to work pretty well too Thank you for sharing!
  5. No worries! Glad to hear that you got it working
  6. I had the same issue as you and did a little bit of research in the past few days. The main program "dolphin" had some major changes to the interface and is causing some command-line issues. However, it seems to work fine with the "DolphinWx" version which is included. Try that one
  7. I was also curious about this, so I did a little bit of research From one of Retroarch's pages on the same subject: https://www.libretro.com/index.php/retroarch-1-7-2 - achieving-better-latency-than-original-hardware-through-new-runahead-method/ "Once the game is running, go to Settings -> Latency and/or Quick Menu – Latency. The setting ‘Run-Ahead to Reduce Latency’ is what you want to enable. From there on out, you can specify the amount of frames that you want to run ahead. Be advised that how well this will work with the game in question will depend on the game’s built-in amount of lag frames, so experimentation is key here." I'll test this out myself a little later tonight and see how well it does
  8. Well understood. I truly apologize because I noticed the same name 'Lprong' on another post with the exact same issue, where similar answers were given but in fact, it originated from another (different) user. I wasn't try to be negative but just felt a bit frustrated because too often, I see users asking the same questions over and over again, only to ignore what answers are given. To get back to the subject though, the Canary builds seem to have some command line-related issues while the nightly versions seem to be okay at the moment. However, the Canary builds run at a much more 'playable' speed. So hopefully they'll get this issue fixed in the near future.
  9. Has this topic been double-posted because I feel like i've answered/discussed the same issue about 1 week ago. The canary build of Citra had some significant changes made recently to its interface and with it, some new issues (such as this) have appeared.
Been waiting for a function/feature like this for a very long time! This should be either a default or optional plugin in all themes
  10. Grila, you're my hero! Thank you for sharing this!
  11. That would be great. I don't really know anything about the coding stuff within themes, but I can imagine that if Grila can get the listbox centered, then this should be possible too, possibly
  12. Sounds good! Been waiting a while for this, so it will be very much appreciated
  13. This is great! I've requested this feature in BigBox for the past couple of years, yes literally Is this a plugin or code in a theme?
  14. There seems to be some major changes made to the program's interface in windows in the last few 'canary' updates, so it's very likely that some of this new code has affected other areas
  15. CCS64 is a decent emulator too, but I highly recommend Vice, as you can set it up without having to add any extra parameters or command lines. Also, Vice still receives updates on an almost daily basis http://vice.pokefinder.org/
  16. How about trying another emulator? Vice is a much more 'complete' emulator and I've never had any problems loading games with it through LaunchBox
  17. I've (literally) tried every frontend out there during the past 5-10 years, and now I only use LaunchBox and AttractMode (another frontend) for these (mostly subjective) reasons 1. Hyperspin is very easy to make themes with, but lags on my computer while being a flash-based program, or at least that what its themes are made from. Also, its 'tech' is way behind the times (1024x768), and caters more to those who want a flashy 'in your face' style. 2. RetroFE is a very nice frontend, relatively easy to set up and customize its themes, but it runs noticeably slow when you add more games, media, videos, etc. There is an obvious wheel-lag whenever I use RetroFE 3. EmulationStation is very snappy and has a lot of great themes to choose from, but it always 'jumps' back to the desktop for 1-2 seconds just before entering and exiting from a game. This doesn't look smooth at all, and is a deal-breaker for me 4. GameEX is great for HTPC setups, but too bloated for my taste, unattractive, a little slow, and simply not worth the money to get rid of that 'nag' screen while you start up the program 5. Mgalaxy is good for people who want a very simple 'just works' type of frontend, but it's way too simple for my taste and not all that attractive or fun to play around with 6. LaunchBox is the most actively developed frontend available and only gets better and better with time. Jason seems to be very much in tune with what the community wants and is doing a pretty darn good job of keeping his customer-base happy and satisfied 7. LaunchBox is really 3 frontends in one, with LaunchBox as a pure iTunes-like interface to prepare everything with an attractive interface, LaunchBox 'Next' for a more simple, clean and snappy version of the previous version, and BigBox for the ultimate eye candy. 8. The possibilities seem to be endless with LaunchBox/BigBox. So I keep coming back here everyday to see what new things are brewing up and being developed at such a wild and fantastic pace I'm sure that there's more reasons but I'm too sleepy to keep going, and I think I made my point
  18. Yep, that worked for me Thank you very much for the help and fast reply too!
  19. As much as I love this theme (one of the best by the way), there's one major issue/gripe I have. The clear logos in the platforms screen are not really "clear". They often have very noticeable black boxes around them which ruins the simplicity and overall fluidness of the design. Is there any way to fix this @Grila
  20. For specific emulators/games issues you might want to try the rpcs3 forums for better answers to your question https://forums.rpcs3.net
  21. +1 on this idea! I also grew very tired of hyperspin's "in your face" wheel
  22. Keeping the selected title centered? I've requested this feature a few times before and still waiting
