  1. Nope have to leave them plugged in for the easiest experience. Not too bad really, if you have the space. I have 3 GameCube controllers on a rack mounted the the left side of the ent. System, two snes usb in the middle rack of Munich rackmount part of the ent. System, two xbox360's on the right side rack, PlayStation controllers on the top of a PlayStation 2 stand, and all 4 wiimotes on top of a wii stand. Yeah it lools like a lot , but it's not that bad or hard to have set up. Hardly ever have to remap, unless something gets unplugged accidentally.
  2. It does accept the manufacturer ones. But even if ut doesn't if you have it using launchbox as the front end, and launchbox plugin for rocketlauncher as emulator, it reads your LB platforms for names. All you need to do then is set emulators in RL and bezels in the folders for that platform name.
  3. Yeah i saw you could use them wired, but the point for me would be to have them be wireless, because they could take care of a lot of platforms in just having two of them. But i'd still need some of my wired controllers, so I don't know, guess i'll have to get one and find out.
  4. When I'm not gaming/tweaking systems, I'm going to sjsu for my masters in library and information sciences, doing family life stuff, and working on one of my 6 classic cars. It's sort of an obsession like LB is lol.
  5. Yeah for mame it's as easy as the built in per game controls. But this is an example of why I like rocket launchers per game keymapping capabilities based off database game listing and not .exe instance.
  6. Just reading as an onlooker, and damn daphne seems like a lot of hassle.
  7. So I keep seeing stuff about the 8bitdo controllers Andy how awesome they are but I have a question for anyone that has them. Since they are wireless, do they knock other wires controllers out of order in windows when you turn them on and off? This is my major concern, since I'd hate to have to remap controls for all my other controllers every time I turn it off and on.
  8. I would consider it the box (front). But it would also be more accurate to add a new image type called cassette case (front), cassette case (back)

I wonder how it would stop the game if we used rocketlaunher, since you'd have to send the exit key for that.
  10. I still don't really like retroarch, so for me bezels in RL are great. The other thing is the PAUSE menu where you can save and load game states within that menu once you setup the autohotkey key presses, and the ability to map controls with joy2key based on database game entry.
  11. would love the individual layers of those top 100 and fighter logos. would your friend share the psd file?
  12. Has anyone tried those realistic bezels out in rocket launcher?
  13. I'd like for that exclusive tick box to be automatically ticked if it was an exclusive, which of course would require work to the database to have that info there in the first place. But that would be so cool, then another option on top of that which allowed you to tick under each platform "display exclusives only".
  14. LB really needs to ditch the time part of it and just wait for a video to finish all the way, then start.
  15. Big box is 100% worth it. Together launchbox and big box do everything that we have been waiting for hyperspin to do for the last 5 years or so. Get it now!
  16. is it an exhaustive list ? Or just some of your favs?
  17. Is that playlist in the downloads section?
  18. Hmm i've never had trouble with which buttons do what. Usually when you press a button on a controller it will highlight which controller it is on the tab. If you have a lot then be sure to set the max controllers to a higher number and then refresh, there will be a bunch of tabs then. Should highlight with a color when you hit a button, then you just go to that tab and set all the buttons.
  19. I know d-fend reloaded is technically a front end itself, but it's been a pleasure to use with rocketlauncher.
  20. I tried xpadder and while it's interface is really nice, especially with controller images,....it was very finnicky about auto-loading profiles, and I could never get it to work with rocketlauncher for keymapping specific games within the database. Joy2Key ended up working perfectly with rocketlauncher, so that's the one I use now. It's simple and straightforward and has most of the features you would ever need.
  21. I can't map controls on this. A window flashes super fast, and I have managed to get it to recognize the press of my SNES usb controller buttons if I am fast enough before the window flash is over, but even then, it only recognizes start and select in game.
  22. Where is that arcade shooters playlist logo from?
  23. Heck yeah. great idea. I might like to actually have the text under as well.
