  1. Star Trek Armada is a Windows game, I know he mentioned Saturn Emulation but I think Windows games are his main focus and if it needs the CD then you will have to mount the iso. I don't bother unmounting the isos, they don't do any harm being left in and if I mount a new one it just replaces the already mounted one, I don't have a string of virtual drives appearing, I do only use one virtual drive though so maybe it's an issue if you use more than one.
  2. I just have the iso as the main application in launchbox, because the typical file extensions are associated in windows (.cue, ,iso .mds etc.) it automatically mounts the iso, no need for any command line. Then in launchbox when you edit the game, under additional apps I add the games executable and tick automatically run after main application. Works fine for me, but I'm using Daemon Tools Lite and Windows 7 but hopefully it should work for you as well.
  3. And carrying on from The Grange Hill theme we have...
  4. Apparently there are a few windows updates that can cause this problem, suspected one are KB2882822 KB2872339 KB2859537 If you have any or all installed then try uninstalling one at a time and see if it makes a difference, at least one is a security update so you may not want to keep it permanently uninstalled but it's probably worth a try in the short term to see if it fixes the problem.
  5. http://www.errorlive.com/exception-code-0xc0000005 Apparently a common problem, number one reason is virus/malware infection but there's other possibilities as well. Hope it helps.
  6. In fact I have Xpadder in charge of 3 sets, it defaults to joystick (but with right stick as mouse) I also set some of the fire buttons to some of the more common keyboard controls (space, return etc). If I press the right thumbstick button it switches so that the main analog controller is the mouse, press the right thumbstick again and it switches to my config for pinball games, mainly pinball dreams/fantasies/illusions. d-pad becomes f1-f4 right analog stick for the cursor keys to draw the pin back, top left and top right buttons for the flippers.
  7. Most cracked and especially trained ADF's will require mouse input to bypass the crack/trainer screen. You can get past this if you use WHDLoad games. The other option is (depending on what controller you're using) set your 2nd analog stick to become the mouse, I can't remember if FS-UAE has an inbuilt option for this but I use Xpadder which does the job nicely.
  8. It needs to be in "LaunchBox\Images\Platforms\Apple II\Clear Logo"
  9. I thought MageSlayer was a Win95 game?
  10. And as the games you are trying to load are Apple II DSK games you need to use flop1 where as your command lines all say -flop3
  11. ROM03 is the version of the Apple IIGS bios it's trying to use, there's also ROM01 which I believe is meant to be a little bit slower but a bit more compatible. I think MAME uses ROM03 by default.
  12. I don't have it, but it was definitely released, there's a scan of it on Sega Retro.
  13. My understanding was it was all or nothing with steam games, but I'm no expert with steam games so could be wrong.
  14. Yup, but if you wanted to add one game..boom they're all back again. I'd hide them personally but that's just my opinion.
  15. I think they would just keep coming back if you deleted them, best way is to hide them, just select the games by ctrl clicking each one you don't want to see, then right click on a game and select edit, then just use the bulk edit wizard to hide all the games you don't want appearing.
  16. Er you'll be waiting a long time then...Mobygames has been around for 18 years and is very far from flawless. If you start using launchbox now then hopefully it will provide (more?) motivation for you to help contribute towards the database.
  17. I don't think either of those are SCUMMVM games but I know some DOS games don't install to the hard drive, they might copy some data over or they might just have a directory on the hard drive for save games. The executables remain on the CD and are ran from there. What you could do is mount the CD, find the executables and then create a batch file that runs that exe/bat/com So for instance if theres a voyage.exe on the whale's voyage cd and you're mounting your games in dosbox as D: you would just create a batch file in the game directory on your hard drive which read something like d:\voyage.exe It's a bit of a hassle but if you did create a batch file for each of those games it would mean they would be picked up without a problem if you ever had to reimport your dos datbase for some reason.
  18. Seems to be working now
  19. I don't emulate the ST much (I'm an Amiga man) but it's got improved features and better emulation accuracy, you might not notice much difference as the original Steem was a very good emulator, but by using the new one, you certainly won't be losing anything whether you notice the new features or not, so why not use it?
  20. Make sure you're using SteemSSE which gets frequently updated https://sourceforge.net/projects/steemsse/
  21. Glad to be of help! It really does seem to be the best 3DO emulator, try Alone in the Dark if you have it, it runs perfectly whereas under the 4DO emulator it's got horrendous sound issues, every other game I've tried has worked perfectly so far and phoenix has options so you can enhance the 3d resolution, it's got options for texture scaling as well but that kills the speed as soon as I move it past 1 (and I've got a fairly fast pc).
  22. open the phoenix.ahk with a text editor (should be in RocketLauncher\Modules\Phoenix) delete everything there and replace it with the code in this thread http://www.rlauncher.com/forum/showthread.php?4160 I used the first code example, however it gave me a problem which turned out to be this line dialogOpen := i18n ("dialog.open") ; Looking up local translation I changed it to dialogOpen := ("dialog.open") ; Looking up local translation The other problem is Phoenix has it's own database and you need to load your games individually in phoenix first which will add them to the phoenix.config.xml There is an example config in the rocketlauncher thread but even after editing the paths and filenames I still had a lot of problems with it, it's safer to load the games yourself in phoenix first. Once you've done all that it should work from rocketlauncher and of course then works from launchbox if you set rocketlauncher as the emulator. Hope that's clear(ish) but I'm shattered and off to bed now, any problems I'll try and help with in the morn.
  23. I trawled through google translations of the russian forum and found no mention of command lines, You're right it may support command lines but I'm willing to bet it doesn't. I have got it working through rocketlauncher now though
