  1. Yes, videos in the Launchbox/Videos/Platforms folder will play as default, but if you have videos in the actual themes folder they will take precedent.
  2. If you want different videos for different themes then you need to move them to the appropriate theme after downloading them.
  3. You cant download multiples of the same platform, one video per platform only. What it sounds like you are doing is downloading, then choosing another style and downloading them, overwriting the previously downloaded videos.
  4. The difference between the HW and the SW core are that the HW core will utilize a GPU and allow for resolution upscaling. The SW core is purely CPU based, and unless things have changed since i last looked at it does not allow resolution upscaling. "Technically" the SW core is the more accurate one, but also has downsides like the resolution scaling mentioned.
  5. The controller doesnt need to show in Launchbox in order to work in the emulator, thats simply down to the emulator, and controllers you setup in the Launchbox/Bigbox UI's are just for navigating those interfaces. If you have that controller working in dolphin then that is all that is needed, as LB/BB is just loading the emulator.
  6. That means what it says, your CPU does not support that CPU instruction set. You can not use that, period, you will need to use another.
  7. Yes it is likely the theme does not have artwork for your specific platform name, the Unified themes have platform specific artwork included, so you may need to rename some, or create and add some for your platform.

  10. There is no available APK. You can use a app to transfer it from another device, but that device will also need to be 32bit as that is what the fire sticks are.
  11. Unfortunately the pi simply, even with the 4 is not good enough for correct emulation. Especially when also running a underlying frontend like Launchbox/Bigbox. Dont get me wrong i like the pi, and have a couple myself, but it really is not good enough for accurate emulation, i mean it still uses a 2003 MAME set for example, as well as using very old retroarch cores a lot of the time, or is using hacks like frameskip and others to get a good running speed.
  12. That sounds like attract mode, it randomly scrolls through games/platforms when idle. You can disable this in the options under "Attract Mode".
  13. The actual core is called mednafen, its only called beetle in the retroarch UI. Also Launchbox shows the cores you have downloaded, so it will show anything as long as you have it.
  14. Check that you didnt install Launchbox inside of the Launchbox folder. We see this all the time when users re-install a older version, they install it inside of the Launchbox folder and not over the top of it. Re-installing over the top does not delete your data, so thats my guess here.
  15. As for this, we will need more info than "it doesnt work".
  16. Make sure you are in Platform Catergorys mode first. Then right click consoles and choose Add >New Category, and name it "Nintendo Consoles". Then go to the parents tab and make sure its only checked under consoles. Click OK. Then right click your nes platform, edit, go to the parents tab and uncheck that it shows in "Consoles" and now check your new "Nintendo Consoles" instead. Click OK. Now just do the same process again but starting with a right click edit on Nes and add the hacks to that and make sure in the parents tab its checked to show under "Nintendo Consoles --> Nintendo Entertainment System"
  17. Also make sure MAME actually knows the rompath to that systems files.
  18. Those commands do work, have you added the associated platform to your MAME entry and used that as the command for that system?
