  1. You will be able to get it. Just start fresh like Lordmonkus said. Before you change any settings to deeply set up your controls first and test a few games. Make sure it is at least running. Than start tweaking to get the look you want.
  2. What is the video driver set at in Retroarch? Also is your pc’s video drivers up to date? Reason I ask is I set-up a system for a friend a few weeks back and the same issue was happening. I do not remember what video driver setting it was set at but changing it and updating his drivers (older pc) and he no longer had crashes. May not be what is wrong here but worth a look. See what driver RA is set at, try changing it and see what happens.
  3. @latin625 I do not think he coded a version to play videos. I mentioned it early on in his thread and he said he would eventually work towards a view that play videos. As far as I can tell that never got done.
  4. You are welcome. Some things in themes are easy to make look a certain way, others not so much. A lot has to do with what it is you are wanting to change and how the theme developer coded the theme.
  5. Version 1.0.0

    810 downloads

Nintendo DS/DSi Bezels for use with Retroach. 3 Colors of the DSi handheld with one background for all three. Also there is a Retroarch cfg file if you simply place the extracted folders in your overlay folder of RA the .cfg inside will allow you to hot key switch between the three colors something I learned from @JamesBaker. Also credit to Orion's Angel youtube channel for showing me how to set up the custom video settings. The .cfg is set to default the red image first. If you prefer to have another color as the default edit the .cfg and change the color names in the order you want. You must use the name of the .png.

  7. @Naxster When you use the downloader you should see the following options for videos. Emumovies as mentioned earlier depends on your membership level with them.
  8. If you have already imported the games just right click a game and ctrl-a to select all. Than choose tools / download meta data and media. The wizard will walk you through. If you have all images already just uncheck what you dont want and make sure videos is checked.
  9. I’m just a young cub learning the wise lion’s ways.
  10. It is an aesthetic of the way the theme is coded. You will have to do a work around in that view for that theme. Read this post. What DOS says in his post you basically need to also creat a .txt file named after each game to trick the default theme.
  11. Thanks @neil9000 I meant sync not ftp. Corrected.
  12. Launchbox will download directly from emumovies through the import wizard if you have a paid membership with them. Otherwise, if you have a free account with them you have to download them directly from their site/sync and drop them in your videos folder.
  13. If it is set up and working in Launchbox it works in BigBox. There is nothing to set up in BigBox when it comes to the emulators. That is all done in Launchbox.
  14. I am not sure of a way for you to do this with a controller. Instead of having a large keyboard and mouse you could try keeping on of these handy. I use it with my kids mini pc arcade whenever I need a keyboard/mouse. It is bluetooth so works fine for the little tinkering or task closing in case of errors. If you are having crashes like this in RA I would recommend probably downloading a fresh version into a different folder and seeing if you get the same crashes. I had this occur and anytime I changed something RA would crash. With a new install in a new folder it does not happen. So likely that other version had some corrupt in the files.
  15. @Wayne100 No worries. Just glad you to see your running a bit better on the core.
  16. In the Display Options tick the box for Emulate Fulscreen. Not the one that just says Fullscreen. Also keep the -fullscreen command line. This works on mine. If it does not open the snes9x.conf and edit the line for hidemenu to "True"
  17. Nice thanks for the recommendation. I just started getting into Steam so went ahead and got this one.
  18. I agree with @damageinc86 I do not have the recroommasters one but a buddy does and it is nice. I will use that on my next build this summer. I have the Xarcade Tankstick and works great.
  19. Not sure about another emulator for Sammy but I did some searching on your issue and I found this post on another forum. Not sure if you have seen that post or not.
  20. The default command line you set to the specific core you are using for each system. When you download a core in RA it will save the core file in the cores folder. If you look there you can get the name of the core. Simply use -L "cores/[enter the core name here]_libretro.dll" Also make sure how you have the system named in Launchbox matches how the system name is listed in the associated platforms field. Edit: Looks like Neil beat me to the punch
  21. Double check what your refresh rate is set at. I recently had an issue and with all my tinkering somehow my monitor's refresh rate was at 30hz. Also take a look at this thread and try Neils settings in it. Looks like in that post the machine he has/had the specs are similar to yours.
  22. Have you tried the standalone emulator ePSXe? Like Dos said your pc should be able to run these. Are you running on a monitor or a TV by chance? If you are on a TV check your refresh rate.
  23. HW core allows you to change the video driver. Try changing between those and see if it helps. I believe the HW core allows Vulkan, Software, and OpenGL.
  24. Launchbox pulls images/videos/music from either the Launchbox Database and/or Emumovies.com. So if you do not have emumovies than you are limited in what it is pulling. Emumovies will house the majority of the videos/music for games so if you are not wanting to import your own from other sites it is worth paying for Emumovies. I believe LB Premium member still get a discount for Emumovies. The code should show at the very bottom of your license email purchase of LB premium.
