I will make a first batch of 65 systems, according to my personal use.
But we are far from covering any game system!
If the community doesnt take over the creation, 2 choices: the project stops /or/ I finish it.
Problem, creating these videos takes a loooooot of time. And I have to deal with a full-time CGI artist job and 2 young kids.
So I opened a Patreon page that could allow me to dedicate days on my work time to continue creating video.
I'm not trying to get rich, but like everyone else, I cant spend 1 day/week working for free! I hope you understand.

Obviously, Colorful is a direct legacy of my previous video set "Nostalgia". But improved on all aspects:
Centred design with colorful background, according to the platform. (theme/logo/box/design) 4K video (3840x2160px) @ 30fps (MP4 H264 AAC) HD video (1920x1080px) @ 30fps (MP4 H264 AAC) Only available in 16:9, but design compatible with 4:3 crop. All designs are completly rebuilt. More care of details. More TV variety and better accuracy. Arcade cabinet fully made in CGI, by myself. More variety and better accuracy. Added characteristic effect on CRT TV. Added platform boot screen. (if existing) All sources will be available soon. (Community effort!) # ABOUT CODEC FORMAT ?
Initially, I was thinking of working in H265, more modern for 4K. But after talking with Jason, this is problematic on some old configuration and with Windows Media Player, which doesn't support it.
So, I will leave you the choice!

refried Refried Theme Platform Video Set
A set of 155 (with more to come) platform videos,that I have created to match perfectly with my Refried theme. I have used the same character,Background,and border art in the videos,that is in the theme, for the majority of the videos. I am sure it's obvious where the influence came from for the theme,but, this whole thing started out as an alternate version to the Unified theme,which sort of took off and became something slightly different overall. While I do have plans for about 60+ more videos to add to this set,I am afraid I cannot take requests,at least until the project,as a whole, is completed. A special Thank you to @RetroNi for allowing me to use his white bordered logo set,with a few changes,for the titles in these videos...As well as @CriticalCid for giving me the unspoken inspiration to even start this project in the first place!

Generic Television Commercial Platform Videos

I did a similar set of Television Commercial Platform Videos that had a background & borders and was more designed for themes using video snaps on the right side.
They turned out to be pretty popular. So I decided to do a generic set without the borders and backgrounds.
Some of the screenshots are more blurry than the actual videos. (Keep in mind that television was 480 and over-the-air back then. These things are really hard to find, especially with a decent quality)
Some of the videos are the same commercials, some are new

MSU-1 Platform Theme Video (16:9)
If you are unfamiliar with MSU-1: MSU-1 (Media Streaming Unit – Revision 1) is a Super Nintendo-only, processing architecture developed by Byuu, author of the bsnes/Higan emulator. This technology brings a realization to “what could have been” had Nintendo not abandoned the deal with Sony to develop a CD-ROM add-on for the Super Nintendo. Instead of getting the Sony PlayStation as a standalone console, it would have been the Nintendo Play Station CD-ROM attachment for the Super Nintedo.
This technology allows for an additional 4GBs of storage for Super Nintendo games. It’s primary use, thus far, has been to create CD quality soundtracks for Super Nintendo games. It can also be used to add FMVs (The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past) and, in some case, allows for games to be ported to the Super Nintendo (the Sega CD FMV game Road Avenger has been ported to the Super Nintendo using this technology).
In many cases, the CD soundtracks have been provided, royalty-free, but there are some exceptions and you must buy the soundtracks from the composer(s) (Chrono Trigger being one such case).
Currently, Byuu’s own emulator is compatible with this technology (the bsnes cores in RetroArch are also compatible) and SNES9X (as of version 1.54 - thanks for the correction @lordmonkus) as is the Super Nintendo flash cartridge, SD2SNES.
There are currently 10 games that have patches to make use of this technology (all of them featured in the video), but it is technically compatible with all Super Nintendo games, should any one decide to put in the leg work to make a patch.

I tried zipping and adding them here as separate downloads but a lot of them failed, crashed or were just too big.
This is all the videos I have in my Videos/Platforms folder. There are a lot I haven't used, many are spares in case I decide I don't like the one I'm using, some are just cool... but there should be no duplicates.
99% of these were found using the Launchbox Importer, online (mostly YouTube) or through these forums, I made maybe 1% of them myself. Most of these you'll probably have seen before but I figured having them all in one place wouldn't hurt.
If you have better quality videos, feel free to share!

Hacks & Fan-Made Platform Theme Video (16:9)
This is my very first attempt (now a revised attempt; see further down the page) at a theme video since starting to learn After Effects two days ago. Being my first, it's not the best, but since there isn't really much of anything out there, I hope it's at least good enough for now. As I improve with the software, I'll probably come back and re-visit this. I also intend to make Game Theme videos for lesser paid attention to platforms (Hacks, MSX, Amiga, Lynx, Gameboy, etc., etc.).
In any case, don't be too harsh! Hope you all like it:

SEGA Genesis Mini - Video

Sega Genesis / Megadrive Mini is a 2019 piece of SEGA hardware, with 42 games included. This is the platform video for your Launchbox.
The video is a shortend version of the Japanese commercial, so the console in the video is called Megadrive, and not Genesis.

How to:
Add the following 42 games to a new playlist (and mark it as included on your platform-list, if you want it to appear as a console).
NOTICE: Two of the games are not common USA/EURO releases.
Darius and Tetris needs a bit of work. I added Darius from Arcade to my playlist. Then I added the Japanese Mega Drive release of Tetris to the playlist.
Then I changed the front box artwork manually to the new boxes from Sega's website (http://genesismini.sega.com/ ). The two new covers are included here, at the bottom.

PSGC Platform / Category / Playlists Video Set (with PSGC logo)

These are the Platform, Platform Category and Playlists videos in HD (1920x1080). I made to go with the PSGC theme. I will be uploading a 2nd set of Platform Videos without the PSGC Logo shortly and will provide the link once they are done.
I'm also considering making a new set replacing the cloud background with matching colors to what I used in the fanart images. Give me some feedback in the comments section about that idea.
The videos mostly utilize the BigBox Cinematic videos but re-done to display in the upper right corner of the screen rather than full screen. A couple use videos borrowed from Colorful that were downloaded via LB, some I made and some were found here in the forums or the net.
I may make additional videos in the future or per request.

The Year 199X: System Intro Videos

These are system/platform intros that I've made with the primary intention of being used with the CityHunter theme which can be found here. Thanks to CriticalCid and keltoigael for this theme!
The file sizes are large, but a high bitrate was necessary in order to avoid these turning into muddy macroblock messes. The addition of digital noise, smoke, VHS damage artifacts, etc. adds a lot of visual information that necessitates a higher than normal bitrate in order to avoid compression artifacts. Believe me, I tried multiple lower rates and they looked awful.
These need to be placed in Launchbox -> Videos -> Platforms.
Keep in mind that the files may need to be renamed slightly based on the names used in your library - if your platform is named "Panasonic 3DO" rather than just "3DO" you'll need to rename the video accordingly to match the name of the platform in your library.

Plex Platform Videos

These are 2 Platform videos I made for Plex Media Player. It took me a long while to conceptualize something that would work for it. So hopefully others with HTPCs using BigBox as their primary end will appreciate this.
I've also attached some other media that could be used in big box for plex I used the Translucent - STEAM PC 2D DVD COVER (.PSD) 1.0.1 template for the fancy Box front, so all credit for the nicer looking one goes to @twasjesto
