  1. does you MAME 0.220 folder have a MAME.ini in the root folder?
  2. that doesn't mean your ROM set is from 2004 that means that ROM is a Anniversary Edition that was released in 2004 its just an identifier for that game.
  3. We don't lock threads but I'm glad you got it working.
  4. Make sure you Windows 7 build is completely updated and has the latest version of .netframework.
  5. DOS76

    CHD

also since most (and by most I mean all) CHDs sets come in a merged format it has to share a folder name with the parent rom not necessarily the rom itself.
  6. Unfortunately I've heard of it and know a little what it is but it is not something I have any experience using. There are some users with lots of DOSBox experience hopefully one of them can help you out.
  7. LB should do it automatically when you import them. If they are named correctly.
  8. no because when it make an additional app (at least in my experience) it always make two one for the additional app and a duplicate of the facing rom. Now if you remove the facing ROM from the additional app I don't know if that may effect it or not.
  9. yeah in that case then I'm not sure what the issue is. To be honest I've never seen anyone be able to run MAME software list Roms in RetroArch without command lines so I'm not sure how he is doing it either. I just use MAME personally.
  10. I can't really say because you didn't answer my question about what type of ROMs you have. It sounds like @flatuswalrushas the official Software List ROMs so if you do also then you would need to use the same settings he has but if you are using some other roms say like no intro then you would need to check some checkboxes in the emulator settings
  11. There isn't really a emulator for it per say some people run it in VMs and there is also a emulator of sorts called PCem that you can look into.
  12. is everyone using the official MAME Software List ROMs in this scenario or just random ROMs (both will work but it will effect the settings you may need)
  13. 7GB is excessive and not normal from my experience.
  14. no the format of the drive shouldn't effect its speed and when using a drive solely with Windows then ntfs it the actual best format. I'd try reducing some of you settings in PPSSPP and see if you can get the emulator to work more smoothly
  15. Its working as intended now should it use your actual folder path instead of the default path in the games folder. I would say it wouldn't be a terrible idea if it did but at the same time 0kb folder isn't a big deal either so if it was recoded to act smarter that wouldn't be a bad thing but at the same time if it never gets changed its also not a big deal.
  16. @Zaborja I moved this topic to this section because the troubleshooting for the games database is not where it belongs. Any issues you are having with this has to do with the emulator settings so depending on which emulator you are trying to use you will have to change the controller settings in there in order to fix it. I deleted the repost that you made.
  17. don't know why per say but just copy the exe files from the Launchbox/Launchbox folder back to the original file and see if that works
  18. If you go to your LB folder and go into your data folder is there a folder named platforms which has a bunch of xmls named after the platforms that are missing?
  19. did you install the update in your LB folder inside of another folder?
  20. yes that is exactly what yearly does.
  21. @Jason Carr (since he's the only one that can do anything about it)
  22. When I do it it minutes (in the single digits)
  23. yeah if its taking 4 hours to complete and you aren't getting any media you have some other type of issue.
  24. yes if you keep your games anywhere else but the ROMs folder n MAME (which is the default location MAME is looking for) you have to edit the directory paths in MAME either through the programs built in UI or via the mame.ini file.
