  1. I prefer the second one with the theme name and blurred out cabs on the right
  2. I was interested in that, but the D-pad looks like crap. Is it as bad as it looks?
  3. Thanks for posting this! I had no idea this was even made. Went and got everything, and my daughter just had a fun time playing it before bed. Fun little platformer with classic characters.
  4. You have to pay to download something from mega? I've never heard of that. I haven't ever paid to even have mega, let alone download from it. That seems very odd.
  5. So many. So, so many.
  6. So you want me to go download it from my own mega, and then upload it to mediafire? Na, you can just click on it. That's silly.
  7. I should have a Looney Tunes collection in my file upload/megaNZ link somewhere in there. https://forums.launchbox-app.com/files/file/2406-bannerbox-bordered-clear-logo-banners/
  8. what about joy2key, and an emulator specific, or game specific key-mapping within Rocketlauncher? I've always had great success using Rocketlauncher's joy2key integration.
  9. ohhh, "scrolling" through games in order and showing a game for a user-specified amount of time before moving onto the next would actually be a really neat feature. I'd use it for sure.
  10. It really has come a long way. It's a truly amazing piece of software. In the early days I still kept my Hyperspin install folder. But after a while I realized, I'm never going to go back. It was tough to delete it. But it needed to happen. Launchbox/BigBox is just the best. End of story.
  11. I'm sure you don't want to go to the trouble to learn Rocketlauncher and integrate it with Launchbox just to run older PC games, or DOS games. But for what it's worth, that's how I run all my older PC games that need a keymapper profile to be launched on a per-game basis. It uses joy2key, but it does it all from within the program.
  12. Somewhere in the options you can turn off the game details page so that you don't have to go into the game and then select play. you can just select the game and hit enter and it will start.
  13. If you like those, you might also like the icons I used for my bannerbox genre categories. https://forums.launchbox-app.com/files/file/2406-bannerbox-bordered-clear-logo-banners/ I'm pretty sure they're in the theme template folder I link to. I think I left all my working files and photoshop files in there.
  14. This reminds me of when my recording engineer played us our record back with all the plug-ins activated,....then sent the hard drive home with us and when we took it to another studio,...since they didn't have any of the plug-ins the prior engineer did,...we got disney metal.
  15. If the "Box - Front" designation is the front box as IT originally WAS, then you could easily argue that the actual original box produced probably had no shelf wear or creases at all, as it was most likely delivered to an executive art director's desk for inspection. Also, probably not even folded into a box yet! So as pristine as it could possibly be. Scan that, and you'd have a damn nice image for the frontend without much cleanup needed. So processing a scan that was made decades later to be as clean as possible would make it resemble THE original box as it WAS, much more than scanning in a tattered, stained, and creased box would.
  16. Wow, this is amazing! Any suggestions on a good marquee monitor that would fit in say, a recroommasters cab?
  17. Did you use the keyboard command "ALT+Shift+1" to map controls for player 1? I believe it's those keys.
  18. I hate the subscription model. It's horrible.
  19. So is this like if you are running an entire platform media/metadata update? And you're wondering what would happen in that scenario? I've only updated all my metadata once past my initial import, because my first import was before the database really got going. But I usually only need to update a few games at a time nowadays. Couldn't you just hit the cancel button if the new data wasn't to your liking? That is, if you're just looking at one game.
  20. that configuration override loaded IS retroarch. It's loading a configuration override. So try saving your own configuration override in retroarch outside of launchbox/bigbox once you've got all your controls set. See if it loads that configuration override that you saved next time you open it via launchbox/bigbox.
  21. Interesting question. Wouldn't it just not update that game and leave all previous data about it intact?
  22. I honestly wouldn't really worry about the compression space savings on such small files like genesis roms. Just unzip them and run the individual files.
  23. Well I gave one reason why in my comment. I just really enjoy the way it runs. I also like the easy way to keymap the save states with rocketlauncher, and how it works with the bezel feature. I've never been a fan of retroarch and its interface. I only use RA for a few handhelds that I can't emulate with other programs. It's also nice to emulate all those systems with just that one emulator. Been running smooth for years now. No need for me to re-visit the setup just yet.
  24. I use mednafen for NES, SNES, Virtual Boy, Master system, genesis, playstation 1, sega cd, and sega saturn. I love it. Especially being able to re-map controls on screen, on the fly. (ALT+Shift+1 for player 1).
  25. Wow,...these are probably the best I've ever seen!
