    In the video downloader it will automatically check the boxes for platforms you do not have videos for. You will be able to select the video type you want via the dropdown on each platform. Or select a global video style via the dropdown at the bottom of the screen. You can also click the preview button to stream the video to see what it is like before you download it.

    Yes that is correct, you need a fullscreen Platform video, these shots below are fullscreen videos, they are not artwork with a small video window, the whole screen is a video.

    You need some platform videos for the platforms screen, that is why you have a black background it's designed to play videos of the various platforms when you sit on one. Videos are not included with themes, but can be downloaded in Launchbox. Just got to Tools/Download platform/Playlist Videos.

    Its Retroarch, so the cores are in the core folder.

    Controller automation will exit the game as soon as you use it, rather than having to close the pause screen then firing the close command. So the same exit with automation that has been there for years now, set a combo and use it rather than gong into a screen you dont need to.

    Try asking in this thread for the project, but yes its probably down to a naming issue, i believe they use no-intro as there base for naming.

    Thats a strange issue for sure and i dont have a solution for it as i havent seen that before, only thing i can suggest is making sure all your drivers are up to date including .NET. As for running as admin that is not advised as it can and probably will effect emulators launching, as Launchbox has elevated privileges, any emulator that is installed will also need them.

    Cache your clear logos in options/image cache/force populate.

    If you tried to reinstall from a update and have no games then you installed to the wrong location. You probably now have a new Launchbox folder inside your normal launchbox folder.

    There is no link, just open Launchbox and go to Tools/Options/Updates and enable beta updates and disable background download. Close and re-open Launchbox for the update prompt.

    I am on a 4K display with 200% scaling and both retroarch and the pause screens are working just fine for me. So it could be that the source of your problem lays elsewhere.

    Hi @NotoriousNik, unfortunately this means that somehow you're using a pirated license. Would you mind sharing where you got the license?

    If you are seeing the free version then you installed to the wrong location. I'm betting if you look in your Launchbox folder you now have another Launchbox folder, that is the one opening and is empty with no license.

    I think the automation is for if you want a keyboard combo rather than just a straight button press. So if you left the global button empty but assigned a hold and pause key in keyboard automation you need to hold a key then press another to activate the pause. At least that would be my guess.

    VLC was updated recently, so rolling back has to use the older version, but the updated one is still in the folder. Just close launchbox, and delete the Launchbox/VLC folder, and re-open Launchbox. It will re-create the now missing VLC folder at launch.

    Do the games actually launch if you launch them from the redream UI, maybe your roms dont work so its dropping you to the UI instead?

    Dolphin needs -b -e in the commandline to work correctly. As for Redream like @Retro808 that does not need any extra settings in Launchbox, and you can set fullscreen in the Redream UI.

    I cant replicate this either. @FlightRisk are you testing this with roms or PC games? On PC games if i dont have a manual i only have resume and exit as obviously reset and save/load states are not relevant if not using a emulator.
