Bezel Art (letter H-J) 102 files for MAME
By Reevesad
Hi all,
These are my Mame Bezel Art files which include a "Lay" file (so can be dumped straight into the Mame artwork folder once you unzip the main folder. These files will be ideal for use direct into Mame and on a tv with 16:9 view.
Contains 102 files (letter H-J) of bezel arts from the internet, oh plus some of my own that I've cloned into two different glass views. I've opted for the "Real Frame Clear" and "Real Frame Glass" effect and just done left and right sides rather than all round as that would just take way too long and also I found a lot of the bezels found on the internet just take up too much of the screen and to compensate this you have to change the screen size. (the art1 files included are just the originals taken from the internet).
Both mame formats 4:3 Horizontal and 3:4 Vertical have been done. Once placed in the Mame Artwork folder start a game and Tab to Video Options pick which one you prefer "Clear" or "glass" and then you have to make a slight adjustement within the "Slider" tab for both Screen Horizontal and Screen Vertical (usually around .966 for both)
The games are taken from the rom set that I currently have so title names may slightly differ from the ones you have. (i'm happy to email anyone my Excel file with all the game names vs rom names, if needed)
For the games that I could not find any artwork at all for, I've setup a few standard looking sets (6 Horizontal and 6 Vertical) which gives a view as if your in an actual arcade.
****Any comments or feedback would be much appreciated people*****

For the games that I could not find any artwork at all for, I've setup a few standard looking sets (6 Horizontal and 6 Vertical) which gives a view as if your in an actual arcade. These mainly appear from "B" onwards as i found the other ones in "A" not as aesthetically pleasing.
I have B, C, D and E to upload as well, and I'm currently working on the rest of the alphabet as and when I can.
Hope you all likey likey.

Nintendo 2DS / 3DS XL Bezels
By Retro808
2DS and 3DS XL Bezels for use with Retroach. I have included versions that have the handheld screens as they normally appear and versions with the screens modified. RA has no screen gap setting in the Citra core like the DS core does so the screens display on top of each other touching. Last two pics are of what the unaltered handheld screen looks like in the bezel images included.
Also there is a Retroarch cfg file if you simply place the extracted folders in your overlay folder of RA the .cfg inside will allow you to hot key switch between several colors of the 2DS or 3DS. There is a folder for 2DS and for 3DS. Each contains a read me showing the custom screen settings to use with either. Be sure to set your control map for "next overlay" to change on the fly.
3 color versions of each handheld and each has 2 background versions. The original screen versions will be in a subfolder called "alternate version".

4K Retroarch bezels/overlays
By Arcanthur
I designed some overlays for my 4K TV since I couldn't find any at that resolution at the quality I was looking for. I'm in the process of creating more systems in Photoshop, but the console themed designs take quite a while at 4K resolution. Many of these are inspired by the consoles design, so they aren’t 100% accurate to the source, they are just formatted to look nice as bezels/overlays. These overlays are designed to maximize screen real estate (IE no integer scaling), so there is no gap on the top and bottom of the screen. Use standard 4:3 aspect ratio or custom scaling. So, I won't be creating designs for consoles / handhelds that display primarily in 16:9, as doing that requires shrinking the game.
I use the CRT_Geom shader with these settings changed and the screens are curved exactly where they need to be:
CRT Geom Curvature Radius: 3.00
CRT Corner Size: 0.00
CRT Geom Sharpness: 3.00

Bezel Art Templates for Mame
By Reevesad
Hi All,
So I've uploaded some Bezel Art templates that can be used to create or just use as generic bezel art for games within mame. I use these for games where no artwork online can be found or is suitable for bezels but look better than just the plain Black borders. Here's what's held within the zip folders.
Vertical/Horizontal Templates = exactly that, blank templates that you can add you own artwork to (1920x1080).
Vertical 3:4 ratio with Clear Glass & Real glass finish, just copy and paste the folder onto your desktop, add your artwork I use the measurements 590x1080 (for each side) so it fills in the green space + a little more (but you can go less than this to fit within the green line), once saved rename the folder the same name as the "rom" name and save it to the Artwork folder within mame. The "Lay" file is included
Horizontal 4:3 ratio with Clear Glass & Real glass finish, just copy and paste the folder onto your desktop, add your artwork I use the measurements 340x1080 (for each side) so it fills in the green space + a little more (but you can go less than this to fit within the green line), once saved rename the folder the same name as the "rom" name and save it to the Artwork folder within mame. The "Lay" file is included
Vertical Arcade look Template = So these 4 templates can be used in the same way as above, but I use them for vertical games where the artwork on a usual 590x1080 template look too expanded/bloated. So look much better in a Horizontal format. So I came up with the arcade look around the edges and any artwork could be included using the measurements 340x1080 for each side. (makes some artwork fit/look better to the eye). The other file included in this zip is a Vertical Arcade Space (Tron) look. I just use this for games where there's no decent artwork available but the game is a space shoot em up.
Horizontal Arcade Look = so within this zip folder is 6 different looking Horizontal bezels that I use for horizontal games where I've been unable to find any decent artwork or the game is just too random to even bother with artwork. So I would just copy and paste to my mame artwork folder and just rename to whatever the "rom" file is called. The reason I made 6 was to just make is look a bit more different rather than just have the same generic look. The "Lay" file is included.
Vertical Arcade Look = so within this zip folder is 6 different looking Vertical bezels that I use for vertical games where I've been unable to find any decent artwork or the game is just too random to even bother with artwork. So I would just copy and paste to my mame artwork folder and just rename to whatever the "rom" file is called. The reason I made 6 was to just make is look a bit more different rather than just have the same generic look. The "Lay" file is included.
Hope you find these useful and maybe even encourage some people to create their own Bezel artwork for everyone to enjoy.
Must give a shout out to Derek Moore who initially created the original templates that I used to make my own templates with. He has an amazing video on youtube (link below) on how to create Bezel art using a free artwork package called GIMP. which about 4 weeks ago I had no idea how to even contemplate creating.
so N'joy.

Unified Theme Overlays Pack (+200 in 3 versions)
By Kondorito
Following @CriticalCid awesome Unified theme project, and so you can seamlessly transition from the theme to the emulator, this pack consists of each of the +200 system backgrounds, made as overlays in 1080p, 3 variations each.
IMPORTANT (In case you will be using these pngs with Retroarch):
Overlays require at least one image (.png) and a configuration file (.cfg) in order to activate them. The configuration file should have the exact same name as the image file. DO NOT use spaces in the filenames (for this pack you will need to remove the spaces from the file names). These files (the png and its corresponding cfg) should be placed together in the libretro overlay folder. In order to activate an overlay, go to the RetroArch Settings menu. Find the Onscreen Display submenu. From this menu you can activate the Overlay system and select which overlay file to display.
Example:
4:3 with integer scale
4:3 with integer scale and a drop shadow
4:3 full screen

Nintendo DS/DSi Bezel
By Retro808
Nintendo DS/DSi Bezels for use with Retroach. 3 Colors of the DSi handheld with one background for all three.
Also there is a Retroarch cfg file if you simply place the extracted folders in your overlay folder of RA the .cfg inside will allow you to hot key switch between the three colors something I learned from @JamesBaker. Also credit to Orion's Angel youtube channel for showing me how to set up the custom video settings. The .cfg is set to default the red image first. If you prefer to have another color as the default edit the .cfg and change the color names in the order you want. You must use the name of the .png.

Retroarch 1920x1080 Game Overlays 4 Pack
By ScissorShiv
So initially I started working with the Raspberry PI to create an emulation dedicated device for retro games...it seems that it is quickly turning into a hobby instead of just a project. After downloading and using several of the great overlays found on this site I began to create overlays for games that I hadn't found. In the spirit of sharing I've opted to upload these creations for all to use if so desired. The following pack contains overlays for 1920x1080 for the following games:
1. Rush'N Attack (NES)
2. Solar Jetman (NES)
3. Alien 3 (Genesis/ Megadrive)
4. Mike Tyson's Punch-out (NES)
Hope you enjoy!
Cheers,
Shiv

JRPGod's Bezels Pack [264 and counting]
By JRPGod
All the bezels I've put together so far. Most of them are either re-purposed wallpapers or bezels that I found on the internet and had to fix anyway (e.g. the middle screen not being transparent on them, overlay sizes being wrong size), I put a slight twist on some of them, nothing fancy though. A huge thanks to all the original creators, be it fanartists, whoever did some of the original bezel templates or even the game studios themselves! I'm slowly going through my list of games adding bezels for each retro platform starting with snes, up to roughly 'F' atm. Will re-upload with my new ones every couple of days.
All of them are set to work on a 16:9 resolution (1920x1080 ideally), with a 4:3 aspect ratio in retroarch, integer scaling set to OFF. Set overlay opacity however you like. Many will change as I get time to get to them (Looking at you Bahamut Lagoon), will keep a list of those here as I go. A lot of them will work just fine for the games on multiple platforms (Bubsy, as a random example, should be fine to use for the SNES or MegaDrive versions).
List so far: 264 (Though this number might be off, I keep getting different numbers for what I have on the list and what I have in the pack - If anyone manages to find one of these inconsistencies PLEASE let me know so I can get it sorted)
So with this update, I have now "finished" my PSX, SNES and Genesis/MegaDrive collections (only a few lightgun games which need to played with stand-alone emulators instead of retroarch are not on the list here). Bold + Underlined below = new with this upload, if you had just my SNES collection before this might make it a bit easier for you to keep track of what you need to update/look at for new. Notes next the bezel where applicable, please be aware of the handful of potentially NSFW ones.
Up next will be either Saturn or N64!

Secret of Mana 2 (Seiken Densetsu 3) – SNES I tried to make this one like nadonate's SoM bezel to have them match, using a fan-made boxart I found with the same idea. It's not as good obviously, but I actually really like how it came out.

Gameboy Advance Bezel for Retroarch
By JRPGod
Wasn't a fan of how small a screen all the gba bezels/overlays seemed to want me to have. It might be pixel perfect or w/e I dunno and I'm just a scrub, but I wasn't a fan. So I repurposed a wallpaper I found on google images. It's about as basic as you could expect from a bezel. Used mGBA in retroarch, all default settings except Integer Scaling turned ON.
Oh I forgot to add, it's for a 1920x1080 display.

Atari Destroyer Bezel/Backdrop 16:9
By Mercurial
16:9 Bezel and overlay for Atari Destroyer.
Install:
1) Unzip contents.
2) Drop the destroyr folder into your appropriate platform folder under rocketlauncher/media/bezels/[your platform]/
3) Drop the destroyr.zip file into your MAME/artwork folder.
4) Enable backdrops and overlays in your MAME machine under video options, and set view to "full" for the best experience.
The overlay/bezel is meant to be used with the V2.0 of the destroyer rom. The MAME artwork part of the bezel is only used to provide the blue overlay and backdrop for the game.
Credits to: Trevor Brown for his awesome artwork scans, and Derek Moore for the generic arcade bezel used in the composition of this overlay.

Unified Bezels Collection
By ci2own
Unified Bezel Set for more than 200 Systems to use with RocketLauncher.
What means Unified Bezel Set? I would tell is a Set with same Style Bezels so all system bezels will look similar.
Each system has at least 4 variants: NoTV, ThinTV, ThickTV and Blur. All in 16:9 and 1920x1080.
Preview file here: Unified Bezels Project (15-05-2017) (Preview).pdf
Obviously Handheld Systems due to screen dimensions will have another different Bezel Style. Check my Handheld Bezels (Full Device) post here:
