Or a BigBox Kiosk mode where there is no Options menu, just an Exit confirmation.

Official section yes (except the NES boxes as they are brand new and Circo is a little behind on arranging the users uploads). Regular site under my user name you can find most (the rest are in the HS site) : https://emumovies.com/profile/76406-kondorito/

The box set is done and uploaded in EmuMovies; you can see/download some of my other packs in there as well.

James you are awesome.

Great, although take into account that cdi format might get you trimmed fmvs or music tracks. I am not that knowledgeable about it, but it was discussed in one of the RA topics on how gdi is preferred over cdi. Nevertheless, glad you sorted it out.

Mine are v4 if I recall correctly.

I am using CHDs in RA with the Reicast core just fine. Converted all the GDIs to CHDs with the zip I shared above and they work flawlessly.

When you enter the Edit Game window you can enter free text in the Genre field, so if you want to create a new Genre, once you have your first game to be under that one, just type it out and it should be there onwards for any other games.

If you have an Emumovies account and you have added it in the Options menu in LB, when you import games you can check the Emumovies box of videos and LB will import the games and will search for metadata, media and Emumovies videos. If you already have the games imported, just select the ones you want to add videos to, or select them all and then choose to update metadata and media only when there is missing media, and only select the Emumovies videos checkbox. Should be done in a couple of mins.

Launchbox.Next.exe Entry Point Not Found
Kondorito replied to Retro_Master's topic in Troubleshooting
Googled the error: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-update/msvcr120clr0400dll/debbc134-f4b2-4dde-8667-78560e3b0b2b It has to do with the Framework you have in your machine. See if you can resolve it following the recommendations in the above link. -
Adding another tool besides Neil's. Just in case. Run the exe, and specify the source and the destination folders in the GUI and that's it. You even get the app minimized, and it lets you pause/play the process, and it will let you know once it is done (it can read subfolders as well so you dont need to run it on each GDI). Dreamcast GDI to CHD.zip

Hey @KenSweep, about the weather and time, check the xaml views, as you will see there commented lines with what points to what. I am no coder, but I guess that playing with commenting the weather stuff and leaving the time and date code there could get you what you want. The platforms where thought to show static images in the background, not videos. If you are seeing black screens, then it might be that your platforms in LB are named differently than the background images. Check if the names match (case sensitive and all). I don't know about the 2d/3d boxes flip in the main screen, but regarding the game details view, if you "delete" the gamesview and the textlistview xamls you will see the default BB details screen, with Unified fonts, and with the games logos (that's what I currently have for game details in Unified):

I trimmed my collection a long time ago, and now i am at 12k. It was a difficult decision, but took some strength, deleted the nonsensical stuff, and I am glad I did it. One thing I am doing that helps me play a lot of games rather than the same 10 every time, is using Grila's random game plugin. I just trigger it for the entire collection, and even if the selected game does not look appealing at first, I force myself to give it a chance (play for at least 10 mins). I discovered some awesome hidden gems that otherwise would be buried in my collection forever not being played even once.

Might be clunky and buggy, but it is shaping up impressively! Looks great Ize! Awesome job!

No worries I don't mind helping out, is just that I have other ongoing projects atm, so any help you can provide will speed up the process enormously. OCD is a pain in the *head*. I have a mild one but luckily I am finding ways into tricking it, and BB helps in terms that missing media is not so visible right away with all the remaining bells and whistles on screen. -

Transparent Arcade Cabinets > Calling an Army of Photoshoppers
Kondorito replied to Mr. RetroLust's topic in Game Media
I would leave them as they are. MAME nomenclature for the roms is the best approach compatibility-wise. If we rename over 3k files to what we think are the actual game names (and we will do it poorly I am sure of it, as apostrophes, dashes, slashes, spaces, commas are a very complicated matter for a unified naming convention), nobody will be able to use the set, and the users will end up having to rename them all over again. Leaving the official romnames you are ensuring that not only all front ends will be able to use them, but also MAME itself as well as any other 3rd party apps. -
