  1. What theme are you using? Have you tried a different theme to see if we can eliminate it being a theme issue? I would recommend using the default theme if you are not already and see if the problem still persists. Maybe share an image of what you are seeing.
  2. Sorry you are having such a hard time. Although the extreme negativity is a bit much, but I can understand since you are frustrated. LB is and has been very stable and typically any issues our devs are quick to tackle with beta updates to test. If things are disappearing it sounds eerily similar to something we have seen in the past with users having additional files in their \Data\Platforms folder. Would you mind going into your \Launchbox\Data\Platforms folder and sharing a pic of the contents. Please expand it so we can see the complete list of platform xml files in there. Also, is Steam the only platform you are having this issue with?
  3. Are you talking about from within this screen? You have to first hit whatever button or key you have set for your "Select" to get over to the side of the menu with "Uninstall", "Apply as Main", and " Details" then you can move. (You have to hit select so "Uninstall" gets highlighted then you should be able to move.) Or are you saying that even after hitting select to get over to that side you still cannot move?

    Emulators filter

Maybe not many users seem to care about having a list of all games tied to an emulator that the devs considered having it an option. You can probably do this yourself by utilizing the custom field option and create an Emulator field. You would have to bulk edit games to then tie them to that custom field. Be a bit of upfront work, but you would eventually have what you need as you would then be able to go into all games view and sort LB by that custom field.
  5. Do you have other Teknoparrot games set up that work fine in LB? If so the set up for Battle Pods is the same. There is a pretty good write up on adding TP games. Let me see if I can find it. Here you go: This should help.
  6. To use a different emulator for a specific game just edit the game in LB and change the emulator it is using. You can also click multiple games and edit their emulator in bulk. Go to the Emulation section in the edit game window and change the emulator there. Just make sure what ever emulator you change it to that emulator has the platform name that game is in listed in its Associated Platforms tab within LB Manage Emulators. I would recommend just using a current full Mame rom set and Mame. I know some users seem to feel Mame is hard to use but it is one of the easiest to set up. I used to do the FBNeo this and Mame that type set-up but it just became too much of a pain to manage anytime I wanted to update things. Especially if I had a platform that some games used one emulator and other games used a different one. So much easier just to update my current Mame roms, run the Mame importer again, and pretty much done and have the latest roms.
  7. @*D1sk* Please do not spam multiple threads with the same issue. Just pick one relevant to your concern and post there.
  8. The CHD's are the arcade game disk image so those games needing a CHD would be included in one of those Arcade All Killer No Filler lists. Unlikely anyone would have made a list specific to chd games since those are just arcade games.
  9. It is ok where it is at. We are not real sticklers on where posts should go. Definitely good to hear your experience has been positive though. So thank you for sharing.
  10. I do not recall having a "General" section but we do have a "Monkeys" section for anything you want to discuss.
  11. @vaderag This about sums it up. If you do not count the clones there are really only like 50-60 working and way less than that are even worth keeping/playing.
  12. No. If you are either importing Mame rom files individually or using the Full Mame importer LB is only importing the zipped rom or in case of the full importer it just refers to the file name. So the only thing it would or could copy over is the zipped file. It does not even know if a game needs a CHD. Even the Mame.xaml metadata file only makes reference to the zipped rom.
  13. Filter in LB? What specifically are you looking to do? LB does not care about the CHD, only Mame does. LB just tells mame the name of the rom file to launch. Most of the games in Mame require the zipped rom to launch the game and the CHD supports it. There are a few exceptions that are CHD only games like Golden Tee Fore 2005 and 2006.
  14. http://adb.arcadeitalia.net/lista_mame.php Under the ""Additional Filters" option click it and select "Use CHD". Should give you a list of CHD required games. You will see a Color coded dot in each game as well to see which work and do not. In the "Emulation" spot you can change that to show only working games.
  15. The "combine roms with matching titles..." option is only for combining roms you are importing at the same time. It does not look at a rom you are importing and attempt to combine it with one you have already imported.
  16. There is a thread mentioning this ma be caused by the "Remove Rough Matches..." option in the download media wizard. The other post Jason mentions he is not sure why the error would occur but asked the OP to test by unchecking that option when in the Media Download screens and see if the error returns. The OP never responded. Can you test this and report back.
  17. Highlight the games missing clear logos in LB then go to >Tools >Download Media and Metadata. You can check the option for clear logos there or download any other media you need. You can also download images manually from other sites, directly from our forum, or make you own and manually store them in that image folder. LB will recognize a file named after the game (as it appears in LB) or the rom file. The appended -01 is used if you want more than one image. Just continue to add -02, -03, and so on the the image file name.
  18. Yeah this is one thing I have asked Jason if we can get. An image priorities for marquee since its current state defaults to box-front priorities. Wen creating marquee views you have to trick BB. Maybe you can help nudge that with him....??
  19. Not sure how you downloaded your roms, but if you get your Naomi roms from the full Mame romset you will not be missing any files. We typically recommend this route over downloading individual roms from random sites to prevent this type of issue. That rom in the latest mame sets has the file you are missing.
  20. All custom themes you have tried to just specific ones? What theme are you seeing the issue with?

    Notes Box

There are some Pause themes that offer a way to show controller mapping images. There might be a Startup one also. Do not remember. I use both a startup and pause version as sometimes the startup does not stay long enough and users forget what button was what.

    Notes Box

Startup themes can only be altered by editing the code in the theme's xml file. Exactly like if you wanted to alter how a BigBox theme actually looked. There are not actual settings in the LB or BB UI you can select to alter.

    LB Galaxy

Definitely a nice addition. Gives me some creative ideas on how to modify the LBTheme I am using. Hope you do not mind a recommendation for this theme. Possibly wrap the RetroAcheivements in a ScrollViewer to allow for scrolling the achievements separately from the metadata. The metadata can still keep its own scrolling.
