  1. Hey bro, great work on these they look excellent! I've personally started using mine with the HSM Mega Bezel reflection shader available on libretro forums, which allows for shoe-horning them into the television-style display with the awesome work of the reflection shader there, have been very happy with that result. Definitely recommend checking it out if you haven't seen already: HSM Reflection Shader So you can apply that shader, modify the base television graphic to one you more prefer (optional), scale it up to fit the screen vertically and fit the 1920x1080 border bezels as an overlay on top. With what you've learned and leveraging that shader I bet you could come up with something even more amazing! If you so desired anyway.
  2. Oh sweet, this is awesome. I've been "out of the hobby" for a bit now and in the process of updating my launchbox - This is a very welcome addition, using this over mine with your settings now too.
  3. Reserving this as a placeholder. For anyone who likes these but had a game not in my collection, or wants one for a game on a system I haven't gotten to yet, I'm open to taking requests, just drop what you'd like here and I'll be on it when I can.
  4. For what it's worth, I recently went through the process of replacing all my ISO's to BIN/CUE for friendlier support with the mednafen systems, and the more accuracy-focused emulators get the more likely you are going to be to need the CUE/BIN formats in the future. Play around with zip, but DON'T convert all your bin/cue's to isos or something equally worse, that will only come to bite you in the ass. Just my $0.02
  5. Thank you kindly. And I'm sorry for my comments to you the other day, was inappropriate of me.
  6. Very weird, doesn't seem to be my VPN. Definitely no ban for *redacted*? If not, then I'm not really sure what to try.
  7. Thanks for taking a look mate, that image is all I get when I try to connect from my account, but it works if I log out, combined with the fact that I should've still been connected to server I thought maybe was banned. That's strange then. Maybe my VPN IP range had to be banned? Will test a few different IP ranges see if it's that.
  8. Did I get banned out of the server? No longer in my list and says invites are invalid, but same invite works for guests...
  9. Wow @Omen get over yourself mate. Truly. The dude is making a very valid point. And I share his frustrations, both his original point and the frustration of being told "get over it your vote wouldnt have mattered anyway" heh.
  10. This is sick! Any plans of ever incorporating the XIII trilogy and (10 days to go!!!!!!!!) XV? ^^
  11. I think plenty of people would be interested! No need to place them on emumovies as far as I see it though, submit them here and contribute to the awesome repository of overlays and bezels we're starting to pull together here at Launchbox. ^^
  12. Have you tried tinkering with the DX9 driver instead of the DX11? @Arcade1993
  13. I just had surgery to have 3 tendons reattached in my right hand, so im very limited in being able to further explain anything. I can say it wont screw with other xinput games about 99% sure - xinput doesnt care about OEMName at all. I cant confirm this is what OP wants though - It'll definitely make retroarch easier for him, and MAME may behave the same since you also choose between directinput and xinput in MAME, but MAME might ignore OEMName whereas Retroarch matches it. The most importanrt thing in these situations is t o make sure u use dinput (even with xinput controllers) and ensure you always plug them into the same usb ports everytime. Its also good practice to regularly plug all your controllers in to their individual ports and remove all ghost (hidden) entries of your devices, these cause so many issues its ridiculous. Sorry I cant help[ more! when my PT is over I might do up something more user-friendly or at least easier to understand.
  14. LOL Took me so long to figure out what this was. Did you seriously write software for DOS in 2018? What a beast.
  15. Another awesome submission from the master. Looks sick!!
  16. I don't quite understand what you mean I'm sorry. "It quickly goes through all the files and downloads nothing" - As in after you go through the metadata wizard, and it says alright starting downloads now, at the bottom of launchbox it shows as having identified the media, then not downloading it/moving onto the next one? If yes, this usually means you already have the media downloaded, and you needed to either go "Tools > Refresh All Images", failing that try clearing your cache (be warned, if you have a huge library, there's going to be a performance hit for a while as it rebuilds), and then failing that again, I'd take a look at your folder structures and ensure they match as they should (I recently had an issue where launchbox wouldn't download media and wouldn't show in LB, it was related to updating from a very old version and the folder structure changing). If you are just trying to add/download images from the launchbox/emumovies databases for the first time to games you have already imported in Launchbox? If this is the case there shouldn't be any "tricks" really required, just bulk select the titles you want to edit with Ctrl+Click, and go Tools > Download Metadata and Media - You can of course skip the selecting part and do this for your whole library, but be warned, especially if you've made a lot of custom changes to your titles and metadata, this can cause unwanted side effects. The only time there should be issues is if you've edited the name of the game to such a degree or changed the formatting of the title, for example if the db has the game as "Batman: Whatever" and you have it as "Batman Whatever", this can cause the scraper to not match your library with the database correctly - For me the best solution was to go through the small portion of games I had left like this, and update them individually with Right Click Game > Edit - This allowed me to match the title with whatever the database was looking for, download the media once the metadata was applied, and then set the name back to whatever I like. I'm rambling at this point though and not sure if any of this is what you mean. A bit of clarification on the issueand hopefully I can help a bit more.
  17. Awesome awesome awesome! Glad to be of assistance mate.
  18. Hmm, your cursor in Launchbox should not be the fancy analog controller one, it should be a default windows cursor when using the gun, you should also not be able to launch a game with one click of the guns, it should require a double-click, or in my case ('cos I can't trigger that fast), right-clicking with the gun and then pressing play with the trigger - at least that's how it works for me on both of my guns and my normal mouse. I feel like your issue is related to this but how I do not know. Your guns are definitely in mouse mode, and NOT joystick mode? Because you should only get the 'fancy cursor' inside launchbox when browsing with an analog controller input, which the aimtraik becomes in joystick mode. You've made sure to close and reopen launchbox after switching it into mouse mode? Heck, close launchbox, put the guns in joystick mode, put them back in mouse mode (and be sure they're in mouse mode), reboot the PC and ensure they're still in mouse mode then open launchbox, and see how it goes. Alternatively maybe try disabling gamepad input entirely in launchbox, restarting the app, and seeing how it goes.
  19. Thanks for the clarification buddy. It's a strange issue because looking at it in my LB, there's no "special setting" needed, the only MAME parameter I use is -skip_gameinfo To test I just launched both Area 51 and Terminator 2 (a "lightgun" game and an "adstick" game) out of Launchbox, using the guns to select the game and go "Play" and had no issues in either. If you're certain they work in MAME (I found configuring the guns correctly in MAME very hard) without Launchbox the only things I could suggest is making sure your Launchbox points to the correct MAME executable (maybe you've been using backups as you test around and you're pointing to an old backup of MAME?), ensuring you run MAME in full screen (just to be certain it takes full control of raw devices), and if the Aimtraks have any "release mouse when off screen" option then toggling it - maybe the mouse is getting "trapped" offscreen/in Launchbox when it adjusts your resolution to suit MAME. Let us know if any of this doesn't work and we'll dig a bit deeper and try to recreate the issue on my machine. Out of curiosity, what is your normal mouse (not Aimtrak) doing when this happens? How does it behave when this happens (does it control MAME, control the cursor, control nothing?). Another thought: Use the Aimtrak in Launchbox, what cursor do you have? Is it just a plain small windows cursor, or is it the enlarged "fancy" Launchbox cursor used for analog controls? If it's not just the plain windows cursor then your Aimtrak might be in "gamepad" mode instead of mouse mode, and Launchbox is taking control of it that way. If that's the case, then you'll need to put the Aimtraks into mouse mode (which afaik they should be for about everything except dolphin anyway) and reconfigure MAME. This is all just guess-work at this point though.
  20. Uhh, I'm not sure what you're asking unfortunately mate. Is this a MAME issue that only occurs when launched from Launchbox? Or are you trying to bind your Aimtrak as a gamepad device to sift through your library in Launchbox (I'm guessing not this because I struggle to understand what the point would be)? I have 2x TopGun's so if you elaborate on what is it you're trying to do I might be able to help.
  21. Figured just do both in the end. ^^ Unfortunately I have a pretty small Genesis library. Will probably change in the future but this is what there this is for now.
  22. I don't know why but my printscreen isn't working anymore, so I'll have to just upload the preview bezels without in-game for this update I'm sorry! If anyone knows what the issue might be (or where the take screenshot with borders option is in retroarch, I can't find it ) please let me know!
  23. Wish I could assist myself in this matter a little more but I can't make any sense of it. Started happening about 2 days ago. Occurs just before the end of the wizard when it starts to scrape for metadata, so after you specify which emumovies files to download, and before you get to put finishing touches on the game names. I'd say it's my own fault from when I was stuffing around trying to get new ScummVM games to register, but I am certain I backed up the xml files before making any changes, and restored them immediately after. I'm not expecting a 'fix' just wanna know if it's something I can maybe just update over and it'll go away? ^^ Thank you. The 'File' start tag on line 367208 position 4 does not match the end tag of 'LaunchBox'. Line 429147, position 3. All the bezels I've put together so far. Most of them are either re-purposed wallpapers or bezels that I found on the internet and had to fix anyway (e.g. the middle screen not being transparent on them, overlay sizes being wrong size), I put a slight twist on some of them, nothing fancy though. A huge thanks to all the original creators, be it fanartists, whoever did some of the original bezel templates or even the game studios themselves! I'm slowly going through my list of games adding bezels for each retro platform starting with snes, up to roughly 'F' atm. Will re-upload with my new ones every couple of days. All of them are set to work on a 16:9 resolution (1920x1080 ideally), with a 4:3 aspect ratio in retroarch, integer scaling set to OFF. Set overlay opacity however you like. Many will change as I get time to get to them (Looking at you Bahamut Lagoon), will keep a list of those here as I go. A lot of them will work just fine for the games on multiple platforms (Bubsy, as a random example, should be fine to use for the SNES or MegaDrive versions). List so far: 264 (Though this number might be off, I keep getting different numbers for what I have on the list and what I have in the pack - If anyone manages to find one of these inconsistencies PLEASE let me know so I can get it sorted) So with this update, I have now "finished" my PSX, SNES and Genesis/MegaDrive collections (only a few lightgun games which need to played with stand-alone emulators instead of retroarch are not on the list here). Bold + Underlined below = new with this upload, if you had just my SNES collection before this might make it a bit easier for you to keep track of what you need to update/look at for new. Notes next the bezel where applicable, please be aware of the handful of potentially NSFW ones. Up next will be either Saturn or N64!
