I bid you all farewell.... for now

Hello all,

In recent past I have been more removed than I had been previously and have slowed down how much I respond to things here in the community. I appreciate those that have noticed and reached out during those times, and those that have kept me on toes despite that. Unfortunately I must inform you all that I'll likely be around even less moving forward.

As of today my time working on LaunchBox has come to an end.

Over the years I've worked on this team you all have been nothing short of amazing. There have been many great moments enjoyed in my tenure here, but nothing has brought me more joy than watching you all take a software I put my heart into and doing things even I had not realized possible with it. I appreciate you all for sharing with me your childhood memories, and allowing me to be a part of the journey to not only preserve them but to build upon them. It's been an honor, and one I will cherish forever. I still fairly regularly read through my new hire post when feeling down. It never fails to cheer me up. You've all given me more than you'll ever know.

I've seen many good people come and go from the public eye in this community, with many rising to the occasion and making their own stamp amongst the ranks. Many more are content to be more quiet but still play an integral part. I see you all, and appreciate the opportunity you've created for me. While my departure is bittersweet I do look forward to once again getting to hang out with you all as a fellow community member.

At this time however I feel I must put that on hold. I need to take the time to reflect and decide what's next for me and my family. I appreciate you all for your understanding.

Sad to see you go man, you've been of great value and help through the years. Time brings change, it always will and I don't like that aspect of time but you and the team make something that controls that aspect of time and make it beautiful to boot, like time travel in a way. I enjoyed you, hope to see you back someday, take good care of you and yor family. Respect

I would also like to express my respect and say that it is a bit sad to see such a long-time and distinguished member have to say goodbye... (even if only for a while).😢
