    @Jason Carr this sounds like a strange issue you have an insight on what might cause this.

    I think you can just change the name of the zip it is referencing to the 2 player name and it should fix it. Edit Actually I just deleted .zip from one of my games and LB still launched it so you can actually just add the name of the 2 player rom without needing to rename it I believe. I have a split set so can't test but I believe that is how it will work.

    for the most part your roms aren't going to change names much at all so so you can simply delete your old roms from the folder they are located in and then put the new ones in the same location as your old ones and the ones in LB will just keep working. Until LB implements it's MAME updates it isn't going to be able to recognize the newer games in the set anyway so that isn't a concern until later on down the line.

    yeah I have the Asus z170i and Z170D-3 boards that support 6th Gen CPUs so far from ancient and they have no onboard Bluetooth. Plus who would replace a working PC for BT when a dongle is under $10.

    I'm not sure about the other handheld but for the Nintendo ones I found the shaders in the handheld folder to be better than the overlays if you wanted to look into that this is an example of the GBA one. The folder contains different sized shaders that show different zoom levels of the handheld also if you aren't set on that one.

    go to your LB folder and go to updates and run the latest update again it will replace the exe files but not anything else.

    yeah no clue why RA would be doing that it usually not a beast unless you are running certain cores.

    The RetroArch Handy core is much better than the stand alone handy emulator

    I saw that also if you click on the games link you will see the same characters there so I'm guessing it was a copy paste and they carried over but I had never seen anything like it before

    Just tested it out and yes it does appear to still be not working properly Jason has been notified about the issue but with it being a holiday weekend no guarantees that it will be resolved before then. Sorry for any inconvenience to anyone

    Not saying these features will never come about just that the push is to add existing features to LBN and get it ready to replace the original version of the program not add additional functionality at this time. I'm not so much pushing for the guide button but the ability to set triggers d pad right stick like you can in RA is definitely something I would like to see make it in one day.

    While I would love to see more controller options available at any point. I'm going to assume the new controller features will mirror the old ones and not add new functionality at this point.

    Okay it works from the tools menu but if you try to combine them from the context menu with 2 games it says its coming soon.

    last time I checked consolidation wasn't working yet.

    Does controller automation now work in next last I had heard it did not. Sounds like more of RA issue than LB but I'm assuming it closes normally in regular LB and BB?

    LBNext is just LB using the same code language as BB so while not saying performance improvements aren't possible in BB it isn't like it will be rebuilt in a new language and work faster like LBN is doing.

    Jason updated the forums yesterday from the provider might be on their side of things.

    No I never have experienced that before.

    If you reinstall into your existing folder it won't change anything except the .exe files so if the issue was with those files it can fix the issue and it won't negate any of the work you have already put into it. If you have to install to a new folder you can simple copy a bunch of you current directories into that install and everything should work just like your original setup.

    yes it is 4 way and if you only have 8 way which dpads also are it makes playing the game with any precision vert difficult.
