  1. Have you specified the correct core for the systems to use in the associated platform tab of the edit emulators/retroarch menu? Also check that the platform names there exactly match what you actually called the platforms in Launchbox.
  2. Yes, you only import the .cue's for any platforms that use them. The .cue tells the emulator what audio tracks there are so it knows to play them.
  3. It will be the same price for everyone. $5 to start i believe but that may increase when its more fully featured.
  4. Wii Virtual console is not a platform, its just Wii. So if you want the games in a separate platform you will need to type in a name for the platform in the import wizard instead of picking Wii from the dropdown.
  5. I'm sure there will be a announcement once its available for purchase.
  6. Well all the games you are running will be at a lower resolution than your monitor, which is fine, and Launchbox itself can happily run at that resolution also (although the UI will look rather large) but this theme specifically is coded for 1080p, well i say coded, its more likely that he is simply using 1080p art assets and placement, so they dont scale correctly for you Most users these days have at least 1080p displays, even for emulation purposes, so most themes are designed with 1080p widescreen in mind. Some themes with the way they are coded and what art assets they use dont care what the monitor resolution is, but others with specifically created and placed artwork will.
  7. Yeah that is a resolution issue, you are using a low resolution display, ill guess that this is designed for 1080p as the file instructions mention setting Windows scaling to 200% if running at 4K, which makes everything in Windows appear 1080p size even though its still 4K.
  8. OK, Windows 7 no longer auto updates .NET i believe, so have you tried manually installing the latest version of .NET?
  9. Im running the latest beta just fine here on Windows 10, what OS is that is it 10 with a skin or something older?
  10. She mentioned his join date as you were stating that he was following you to different forums to troll you. She was simply pointing out that he actually joined here prior to you, so he cant be accused of following you to here to troll you.
  11. OK i just checked my Speccy platform and i had those two different versions combined together, so i expanded them out and removed the database ID for the Abacus Programs version then edited the details of the Abacus Programs one, and everything saved fine for me. Of course it now has no database ID and still at the moment has the artwork for the other version still associated, but the edits i made to the actual data stuck.
  12. Edits to metadata shouldn't revert when exiting the edit window, are you exiting correctly by clicking the OK button?
  13. If you were banned you wouldn't of been able to post that, so what are you referring to? Its not here thats for sure. If you to continue to bicker about previous altercations here on the Launchbox forums though you will both at the very least have your posts moderated so that we have to approve your posts first.
  14. I have just tested here with my Playstation platform which of course includes Final Fantasy VII which is as we all know has three discs. I have the discs under additional apps, and scanning my folder for added roms finds nothing.
  15. A Android version is in the works currently.
  16. Could be as you are running Windows 8.1 that you need to update your directx, .NET, and VC Redist packages.
  17. Retroarch is absolutely fine for most systems, so i wouldnt recommend to uninstall it at all, just dont use Dolphin with it if it is causing you issues. It is still a relatively new core and is not up to par with the standalone version as of yet.
  18. They dont just get created by themselves They are actually playlists, if you close Launchbox and go to Launchbox/Data/Playlists you can just delete the .xml files and re-open Launchbox.
  19. You can put the roms where you like, but you will need to tell MAME that path, it only looks in its own roms folder by default.
  20. You will likely just have to accept that you need a mouse to launch that game im afraid. At the end of the day it is a PC game, so it is expected that you have a mouse connected to a PC. Its not unusual for games to have splash screens that need mouse input to actually start the game.
  21. Highlite all games in a platform by clicking one then CTRL A to highlite them all, then run the metadata wizard in Tools.
  22. The easiest way is to download the trailers from YouTube.
  23. Also, also. The title of this thread is Capcom Play System 1, yet the platform in your image is SNK Neo Geo AES, a completely different platform.
  24. Also that commandline wouldnt work anyway as i see at least three typos off the bat.
