  1. You are still not letting us know if the games work when launched directly from the emulator. With Mame. Can you launch and play a game directly from Mame (without using Launchbox)?
  2. LB/BB Startups will not work perfectly with all windows games. It is something Jason has mentioned since the implementation of this option. So there are going to be hits and misses.
  3. As @Mr. RetroLust already mentioned LB does not need the bios so it will never import any support files an emulator may need to run games. It is up to the user to set-up the emulator correctly and make sure the games work in the emulator first. Then when you add the games to LB you should have little to no issues. LB only imports game files.
  4. First thing to determine is do your NeoGeo games work when you run them directly in Retroarch (without using Launchbox)?

    Space bar config

In game controls are configured in the emualtor not in Launchbox. Since you are using Retroarch you need to map your controls directly in Retroarch.
  6. A quick search of Launchbox threads found this. Maybe try what CDBlue mentions in his post.
  7. Black lit 80’s style arcade carpet.
  8. Yes, you leave all those "skips" checked. By unchecking them you added all the nonworking and unnecessary junk. That's why they are checked by default.
  9. @C-Beats gave you the steps. Can you go to where he is advising and share pics of the Details tab and the Associated Platforms tab It is at the top of Launchbox. Look for "Tools" It is actually >Tools>Manage Emulators
  10. Do you have your SNES platform name listed in the Associated Platform (the name needs to match exactly as you have SNES named in Launchbox) and the correct core chosen? If you are using the latest versions of LB you do not need to enter command lines. You just choose the core.
  11. Escape is just how many emulators exit a game/close the emulator. There is not much Launchbox can do about that. It is not really a problem for many since that is what they would want it to do. You might be able to use a AutoHotKey script to do what you need.
  12. When it does not work what exactly happens? Does the game still show or does it go to a black screen? Are you using LB/BB Startup Themes? If you turn that off for this emulator does it change anything?
  13. Looks right. Start+Select works in other emulators to close them? What happens if you hit that combo twice in RPCS3? I notice sometimes it randomly does not work on the first try?
  14. Works fine for me. Can you post a pic of where you pasted it?
  15. Pretty basic question here but did you map both controllers in the PCSXR UI? By default Pad2 should be set to none, maybe you accidentally mapped it with the same controls?
  16. Try putting the following in the Running AutoHot Key tab of the edit emulators screen for RPCS3 in Launchbox. $Esc:: { WinClose, ahk_exe {{{StartupEXE}}} }
  17. Are you waiting more than 24 hours? The DB only gets updated once a day. I know you said you check back the next day, but maybe your a re checking before the update actually took place.
  18. We wait with baited breath......? Keep up the good work! ?
  19. Did you do this while Launchbox was open? If so it will not keep. It has to be closed if you edit a xaml. You can do what Neil said and just delete the games, then import the .iso from the new path and choose not to download media. Launchbox will attach the existing media.
  20. If for some reason they do not show in LB or BB be sure to refresh the image cache also.
  21. Launchbox does not use any cores by default. You have choose the one you want. In the Associated Platforms tab of the edit emulator screen in Launchbox under the Core column you click the dropdown and select the core you want to use. You have to setup Retroarch how you want it first and the cores you want are downloaded. This way all the cores you are using will be sure to show and work when Launchbox sends the command line.
  22. Game Controls FS (Full Screen - Beta) View File A variant of the "Game Controls" theme that shows either a Game Specific controller mapping or in absence of a game map it will show a Platform Specific controller mapping in Full Screen (FS). A sample of images are supplied courtesy of @OhBoy. It is designed for those that will create their own mapping images or those that have them already and want a way to show them without having to override the current LaunchBox image files. The Images shown for display are only samples of how the theme will look. NOTE: All images must be placed in a specific folder structure and follow a standard LaunchBox naming convention to work with this theme. SEE BELOW. How to set-up: All images must be placed in the following folder and structure. (I have included the folder structure and ReadMe in the zip just copy it into \Launchbox folder.) (Pics below to show how this should look) 1) Place a folder called "Game Controls" in the \Launchbox\Images folder (It would be \Launchbox\Images\Game Controls\) 2) All platform specific control images must be named as the platform in your set-up is named and placed in the \Launchbox\Images\Game Controls folder (Example Sony PlayStation platform: \Launchbox\Images\Game Controls\Sony PlayStation.jpg) Note: The name must match how you have the platform named in Launchbox. 3) All game specific control images must be named exactly as the game is named in your set-up or as the LB Database ID (the LB Database ID is best used for games with symbols in the name as currently the coding has trouble pulling game files since LB will display ":" in the title but Windows will convert it to "_"). The image must then be placed inside a folder that is named exactly as the platfrom is named and the folder must be placed in the Game Controls location. Game Specific Controls folder example: (Example Sony PlayStation platform: \Launchbox\Images\Game Controls\Sony PlayStation\ ). The control image for the game specific is placed in the above folder folder:(Example Alien Trilogy for Sony Playstation: \Launchbox\Images\Game Controls\Sony PlayStation\Alien Trilogy.jpg) IMPORTANT: The theme is searching for a .jpg if your images are .png you must either change your image file extenstions or I have left a ReadMe in the theme's folder on how to edit the theme. It is simple and only takes a few steps. I have included @OhBoy controller images with his approval. You can download what he has created here. He has a Startup and Pause theme as well. A no frills Pause Theme that shows either a Game Specific controller mapping or, in absence of a game map, shows a Platform Specific controller mapping. Some controller images supplied.
