  1. @DrLight79 Glad your sorted.
  2. With the background option check you will not know it is downloading. It just does its thing so I keep it unchecked. What version does your Launchbox say it is on?
  3. So it has not updated at all and you have the Check for Update on Startup selected? If you make sure "Automatically Download Updates in Background" is not checked then whenever LB prompts you for an update it will show you the progress bar of the update. So just have "Check for Updates on Startup" checked. Or also check the "Beta Release" box if you want to run betas.
  4. Yes I am sure. What @neil9000 said below. Thankfully Launchbox allows different ways of importing.
  5. The Emumovies discount is off the Lifetime Membership at Emumovies. It is a 25% discount so takes $15 off the $60 lifetime cost.
  6. There currently is not, but in this subforum if you look in the post for AutoHotKey Scripts a member created an AHK to shutdown from within BigBox with the lock on. This might be an alternative for you at least until an option to shutdown from lock is made in BigBox.
  7. No. that is a Bigbox feature only.
  8. I do not think anyone has really reported it recently. However, to be honest video preview has not worked properly on my set-ups for as long as I have had Launchbox. It has been hit or miss if they will preview. I did just test downloading about 6 different platform theme videos and had no issue downloading them. For the issue with not all videos playing have you tried switching to Window Media Player? Are you on a stable version or a beta?
  9. Well, you are definitely doing a great job with these obscure one so kudos on the work look forward to more.
  10. I do not think Jason has made any specific statements on the progression of this, but I would wager he will not spend too much development time on current version of LB. Likely he will get Next up to where the current version is and then anything new will be done in Next.
  11. If and whenever you do get to some updates on marquee stuff you will have made my day. Been holding on for the day we can get some marquee update love Gif support or video support would be awesome. To be honest I am just happy LB/BB keeps getting better and better. Thanks @Jason Carr for all the hard work.
  12. Man I got some catching up to do on these.
  13. If you have front and back box images it allows you to see the front box image and then flip to see the back box image.
  14. Yeah, copying them into the marquee folder is by far a best option as you increase image space taken up, but that way allows you to keep your box front properties as they should be and not affect how box fronts appear in other areas.
  15. I do not think it can really be altered on the user end directly. It does not appear to really be a theme thing unless the theme coder made it such, but many themes do not have the GameMarqueeView.xml file. I think it is how Jason programmed BigBox, it looks for the marquee folders and then defaults to other folders if images are absent from the marquee folder (not 100% confident in that statement ). Another option (but it doubles up images) is to copy all your clear logos into each systems marquee folder.
  16. @DOS76 tip would definitely be the best then. It will reduce amount of movement you would have to do.
  17. True the windows feature is another way to add multiple folders (multiple ways to skin a cat ). I was only advising on how to with the wizard since that was the images posted. I did mention it was in the wizard in my steps for adding multiple folders.
  18. That first image looks like your roms are all in individual folders for each game. Is that correct? Launchbox imports only the files not the folders. You will need each game rom in one main folder. You can have them in their own folder but you then have to make sure each game folder is added to the list in the wizard using add folder option.
  19. Do you have your roms in the default \Launchbox\Games folder or in a different folder? You have to make sure you have the path set for your roms in Launchbox if it is in a folder other than the default Launchbox\Games folder. Highlight a platform and right click, edit on the name. In the folders tab you need to change the default games folder path to where you have your roms. Also it may not work if in the folder each game has its own subfolders. I believe Launchbox will only search a main folder for the rom files. All my PS1 files are in a single PS1 folder.
  20. The app is the only spot for the BigBox cinematix themes. Just tested and was able to download each of the 3 versions available and each time it overrode the existing version. You are putting a check in the download box after you choose the version you want, correct?
  21. In Launchbox go to Tools>Options>Background Priorities. Uncheck any that you do not want showing.
  22. Not sure what is going on. I was just able to download some media from EmuMovies through Launchbox. I was even able to log out of it and then back in with no issues.

    Release Date

I believe so. I have not seen a way to just use year in the metadata fields within Launchbox.
  24. Would all depend on how much you are actually downloading and also SD or HD videos. I have about 3.1GB (1.8GB video / 1.3GB images) on only 210 NES games in my Launchbox.
