It isn't saving it because that controller automation is force closing the application not actually exiting out of it cleanly there are emulators that won't save setting changes for the next time if you use the controller shortcut to exit for the same reason. write a ahk to send the X keyboard press instead of the close command that might close it cleanly.

Go to the BigBox.exe and right click on it go to properties and turn off display scaling should fix it in BB without you needing to change your scaling

Yeah I don't know I'm usually the only one online unless my brother is here and I've never checked how it would effect the other PC during usage that is an interesting thought. Quick question wouldn't your wife's mother in law be your moms?

I've recently done a 1200 game wii collection over my gigabit network I've gotten pretty good performance on loading the games and starting the title and menu screens but I haven't tested with any real play time yet

Zaxxon sounds awesome thanks for the knowledge on this there are a bunch of NES folders I can only assume they work to improve some games sounds in the NES software list

I'm going to say that that may be your issue but I don't know for sure how much the program has changed over the last 32 revisions.

Metroid - Rogue Dawn Game Media (NES) (Hack)
DOS76 commented on Riffman81's file in Nintendo Entertainment System

The file sizes vary so much I have videos that are 12,000KB and some that are 2800kb but only two seconds shorter its all over the place plus if you get more than snaps and get the 1080 recorded Hyperspin videos they are probably much bigger so you question is hard to quantify really sorry I can't be more specific.
-
Shit I didn't even know that I'm grabbing them now
-
It depends really on the number of games you have and which specific systems do you have really. My video folder is around 55GB and I don't know how many videos I don't have I haven't check lately on this PC what is missing. Obscure systems may have no videos where things like NES and SNES probably have one for over 90% of the games.

I only answered the question that I knew the answer too sorry.

You can edit the games in LaunchBox just right click on it choose edit and either change the name of it to the correct title if games have the right title but incorrect media you can delete all the incorrect images and media by right clicking on the image and choosing one of the options to remove it.

-
Did you try changing the input type that MAME is looking for they may allow it to work with the steam controller that quote is from the comments of this post here

theme CriticalZone / CriticalZone - BlueBox
DOS76 replied to CriticalCid's topic in Big Box Custom Themes
If anyone doesn't want to change their scale they could try going into the BigBox.exe properties go to the compatibility tab and turn off DPI scaling. I haven't tested this but it may have some effect and if not it's easy to turn back off.- 627 replies

I was thinking the same thing about the split as Brad was but if you were to do this on its own install couldn't you then upgrade and get an MS-DOS platform sml that you could just drop into your current installs data folder and not really risk anything going bad with you what you have already worked on.

So do you have the SNES games working in RetroArch without LB?
-
Are your games in the default MAME roms folder or did you move them into LB. MAME by default is looking for them in the MAME root folder in a folder named ROMs if they are anywhere else you will have to go into the MAME.ini and edit the path to match yours.
-
Most of the users here are using RetroArch with the Gens GX Plus core for most of our Sega needs and the Picodrive core for 32X games Yeah you would have to find out which set those other guys are using and try to find a corresponding version of MAME that or just grab the latest set which is currently 0.181 but this is going to change within the next few days when the new set is released. I would suggest that you get the latest version of MAME and the latest set when 0.182 is released it features some new audio settings that will improve latency. You can get the latest set though now and it will work with 0.182 version of MAME when it is released.
-
If you already have media all you have to do is place it in the appropriate folder within the LB folder structure so if you have the front box art for Nintendo Entertainment System it will go in the LaunchBox root folder inside of Images>Nintendo Entertainment System>Box - Front you would do this for each system with the appropriate media types so for videos it would be the same except Images would be Videos>NES>FileName.mp4 BigBox works by launching the .exe the demo videos show how it works much better than I can explain. The program itself will use the info from LB for populating itself and you will have to go into the options and make changes to your themes and sometimes your views (in order to see certain elements of the theme)
