The issue isn't the same the Steam API for LB is broken Jason is deciding on what he is going to do to fix this either create another API which potentially could be broken again or have users get their own API. It is unsure when this will be fixed but it shouldn't be to long.
I had to set mine up using a BT keyboard you can probably take the settings xml from your PC and copy it to your tablet with the controller option already set up
Steam has broken the API that Jason had for Steam imports He is working either on getting a new api or switching to a method where the users will get their own api key and use it. Not sure which one he is going to decide on or when the fix will be ready. Your patience is appreciated though.
It would be possible but it would require the lone dev taking time off of the rest of the project to implement it. I don't see it as being a heavily requested feature. There was recently a poll on which we voted for features and like the top 15 or so are going to be worked on so while not saying this will never be done I doubt that if it was it wouldn't be anytime soon. Your best bet would be to try to be around the next time there is a poll and try to get it on the poll this way users can vote on it and you can see what type of support it garners.
In this case since its a large selection of games you best bet would be making an alternative RetroArch emulator import the games as a separate platform using that emulator and then merge them together.
Is your system named Arcade in LB I think RL is looking for it to be MAME there is a way to change it if I remember reading correctly but I don't use RL so can't help you with the specifics.
The legal action part of it is kind of strange and rings untrue to me. Just from doing a little reading it seems like if you have an infringement case copyright lawyers work on a contingent basis as in you don't pay upfront they get paid when they win why that wouldn't apply here I have no clue.
I know Steamlink itself and Steam Home Steaming between PC's works fine especially if you have a wired connection but I've never even heard they had TV apps to do this so I've never heard of any ones experience with it through BB.
yeah you will find that no one here will cry when you post in an old thread. We actually appreciate when people search and look through threads for answers instead of asking questions that have been answered repeatedly although we don't really ever complain about that either. Basically the only rules on these forums is be courteous and don't act like a dick and don't link any copyrighted material
