  1. Sometimes I add games that the kids want to try out, and then they suck, and I'd like to be able to delete them and all media including the videos that I downloaded during the import from emumovies.
  2. i don't know. when i right click and then delete, it still only does the game metadata.
  3. Are you attached to retroarch? Because the standalone mednafen recognizes anything I throw at it. Just have to press alt+shift+the player number and then set the controls on screen.
  4. You can download playlists from the downloads section. Most of the good ones I've ever seen are in there as well.
  5. I'd like to be able to check a box that said "delete ALL media related to this game". That way I don't have to go find the videos manually. Just make it take care of the entire thing.
  6. Yes that totally makes sense, and it would be no issue to sacrifice an adapter for that. But I still don't know if the adapter itself holds all the spots available for up to 4 ps3 controllers, or if any other adapter holds it's spots open while the controllers aren't turned on, like the wii dolphin bar does. if it shifted all my wired, then i'd be up a crappy creek as far as re-mapping everything.
  7. Oh interesting. I have the mayflash dolphin bar which is working great with all of my wired controllers (2 xbox360, 2 ps1, 2 SNES, and 3 gamecube). There's never any issues, but i'm very hesitant to add some bt wireless controllers for fear of ruining all the orders of the wired controllers. I've never really gotten a straight answer as to whether or not the bt adapter will "take up" spots even with the controllers turned off, so that when you turn them back on it doesn't shift any order. I just don't know if it behaves that way. Or if, every time you turn the wireless controllers on, they do shift everything because the bt adapter does NOT take up any slots by just being there plugged in. If that makes any sense. I know the dolphin bar takes up it's 4 spots even when the wiimotes are turned off, because there's never been any shift on my setup.
  8. I'd definitely be interested to see how you were able to get all these bluetooth/wireless controllers to not mess up the joyid orders for everything when turned off and on again.
  9. Ohh I wonder if you could get a USB adapter for the one or two button old Atari controllers and use that just for that purpose.
  10. I'm the same way. Like when I hear the 1941 beeps and oops I'm like "ohhh that's 1941!" And makes me want to play it.
  11. The RL pause menu allows you to load and save states once you fill the table up with what the key presses should be. But you'd still have to have a mapper run (I use joy2key) that would do the direction keys and enter key so you could select the entry with a controller. But I also have my wireless keyboard on the end table and just hit enter real quick to select them
  12. Ant renamed is also a pretty handy renaming tool.
  13. Well then, I don't really know how to deal with that, other than actually having the manual out, and really going retro to actually use it lol.
  14. Aww damn why did the music stop when you got to that last step? This almost makes me want to re-install LB just to go through this lol. Super cool.
  15. I still have this problem. Over a year now, through all different versions of lb/bb. I use RL as well. Funny thing is, it happens intermittently. Every once in a while BB gets focus back like it should. But More often than not, I still have to alt+tab back to get BB in focus. @Jason Carr any ideas?
  16. To use different game pad profiles before launch? Or different gamepads for the emulator. If emulator you just have to set those up in the actual emulator program. If profiles, that could be done in RL on a per system and per game basis with the keymapping function.
  17. Have you set launchbox as the default or active frontend in RL?
  18. I was also wondering what they meant by plugins. I'm pretty sure it's only the front end plugin stuff like you said.
  19. This also has a lot to do with retro gaming, so old school is sort of the idea here. I use joy2key the most for my ms-dos games which usually need different keymapping for each game. It's easy and straightforward to make the profiles, and it works. I spent hours with xpadder and it was just wonky, and could only load a profile based on what current .exe was running. So RL with joy2key just works for me.
  20. hmmm i've never had to do anything related to playlists because in launchbox the playlist is derived from the "master" platform. So it's just pulling from that platform, which is already in RL. Everything I have works when in playlists already.
  21. Yup, enable keymapping, point it to joy2key. Use the built-in feature on the keymapper tab for your system, and get nice per-game profiles without much fuss. I think a lot of the confusion with RL is just not knowing about it, and how to navigate it. Which is natural. But once you either figure it out, or are shown, it's not that bad. I just helped someone on this forum set up their mame with the nice unified bezel pack for RL in like 20 minutes or so. Then once they watched, it was like, oh yeah nice, that wasn't hard at all.
  22. there's got to be someone out there with an 8bitdo and some wired controllers who can test out what happens on 8bitdo shutdown and startup with the wired joysticks. I guess it's cheap enough i could just get it myself, but then if it ruins the joyid crap then it will be useless.
  23. weird. assigned walk to a button, and again 2tap2run doesn't work, hold2run doesn't work. Still no running i guess.
